Extremely professional hired several times, to complete projects at home

This company is the perfect example of why contractors get a bad reputation. I am currently pursuing legal action for a refund of a deposit on a job to replace brownstone on my house front. Lynne contracting was hired in Oct of 04 and as of May of 05 had yet to complete the job. I received nothing but excuses as to why the job was taking so long. The 10 to 15% of work that was completed had to be torn down and restarted because of the poor workmanship. One good indication of the type of service that is provided is the fact that Jeff's voice mailbox is full anytime you call him. Save your time and money and look to another contractor!!

An excellent contractor that I would have no problem recommending to others.

It is a wonderful job, although there is a little bit more budget after their discovering more wood damages inside. They finished job in time and in good quality. Also I really appreciate when they would be late, they immediately called me.

Hi Jeff, you were prompt with a response to our Service Magic request for an estimate. However, you had to reschedule twice before showing up to do the work. The first time you let us know in advance, so we didn't take a day off from work needlessly. The second time I waited all Monday morning for you to show up. I left phone messages that were unanswered. Later in the day I discovered that you had sent me an e-mail at 7:26 am that same morning. The explanation was that a job from Saturday ran late so you needed to reschedule our job. You should have at least had the courtesy to call us on the phone to let us know of the delay. You and your crew showed up the next day and completed both jobs in one day. The work is good and the ability to get it all done in one day was impressive. We would like to be able to consider Lynne Contracting for future jobs, but would want some guarantee that we would receive a telephone call at least the evening prior to the scheduled start date if there is need for a delay. Thanks for the great work.

The owner and workmen were courteous and friendly. It was a pleasure to have them do work on my house. I would call them again if I need other work done.

Lynne Contracting replaced my roof, when I had another problem they came out a took care of it immediately. They charged a fair price and were very friendly.

Good job on our chimney stucco work

I know it was a difficult time b/c heavy winds had caused alot of damage in area-our damage was minor compared to others I am sure but we appreciate the communication so we were updated. You were actually the second company I dealt with and got your number off a website-the first company fell short because they fell short on the communication and even though I kept calling them, acted like I was a nuisance. The damage was only $400., probably minor compared to other work at that time, however alot of money for an unexpected expense for my husband and I. So it was nice to know we were treated like our business mattered and was valued even though not your biggest repair. Thanks again and we will keep you in our roledex for future use!
