The plantation shutters arrived on the first installation day damaged. In fact, over 50 percent were damaged. When they came back the second time to replace the damaged shutters, not only was an entire windows shutters damaged, they ordered the incorrect window on another window. So by the third time we were getting ready to wait for new shutters, we expressed our concern to Joe the owner about this being the third time we would wait for shutters. We also expressed extreme dissatisfaction in the product and our lack of faith that they were good quality due to coming damaged twice already. We were met with extreme disrespect by the owner Joe. He called me (a woman) a donkey - used the cuss word, and he said we did not have the money to pay for them. He demanded he come take them out. We agreed. We did not want his bad looking shutters in our home. We were also told by an installer (a sub contractor he had install the first shutters, not an owner) that they were getting the shutters from a different supplier and they were coming in damaged. This installer told us this during the first install. We have never been treated as badly by a business owner. We would not recommend this company (made in the shade Selbyville, Delaware) because the owner is extremely rude and cruel. Also, the product came in very damaged multiple times.
