We hired Chuck for a project he promised would take six weeks. Instead, it dragged on for over 10 months and was never completed. Communication was almost nonexistent?I had to message him multiple times, often waiting days for any reply. The only part he finished was installing a door from my laundry room to my closet, but he left a blank section of tile on my floor that now requires another contractor to fix. After we ended the service, it still took him over two months to issue a refund, and it wasn?t even a complete refund. As it is, I will probably never see the refund we are due. Overall, I would not recommend working with him and have been very disappointed with the entire experience.

Hired Max Build to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. Was told back in March that the project would take 2-3 weeks and ended up taking 4 months. Very bad a communication and felt like I had to stay on top of things. I understand there are supply chain shortages but that should be communicated. There were multiple times when contractors would say they would be on site and no one would show up or send a heads up that they were not coming. I do like the completed work, but the attention to detail is not there. Nice people, but it seems like they have taken on too many projects and quality and communication have slipped.

He will get the job done. He is more of a text guy than a call guy but will do a good job and won't mind heading back to fix any minor issues you might have after the job. I will definitely hire him again.

Followed through with what he said he would do.

I have used MaxBuild on several large remodeling projects in the last 3 months. Chuck and his team do outstanding work. Their attention to detail is what really sets them apart from other contractors I have used recently. Chuck makes sure that the end product is exactly what you envisioned. I highly recommend Chuck and his MaxBuild team. You won’t be disappointed.

Met my requirements for the remodel. However, there are a few insignificant flaws. For example, the grout for the tiles does not match the existing grout, so it always looks wet. Regardless, I would hire them again.
