MC Creative Concrete

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. The only good thing was his price. But now I have to pay twice to redo the entire job. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely inconsiderate. Extremely untrustworthy. If he even showed up at all, He would show up after 2pm. He did not bring the proper tools and even had to use some of mine and charged me for wear and tear on his tools. He completed half of my patio and disappeared for 3 months to do other jobs before coming back. He poured concrete on nearly ten different days and None of the concrete matches in color or texture. He decided that he did not need to form half of the front walk and hand-shaped it instead. The steps are slumped from setting wet without forms. It looks absolutely terrible. He also did not make it to the specification I asked. All of my steps are different heights and different depths. He told me that they are below code regulations so he does not have to fix them if he does not want to. He made me pay for the gravel and the concrete because he used all my downpayment on his truck and on other jobs. He would then ask for more money almost every time he was at my house. I even took off work to help him because he works so slow. He spends more time in his truck on his phone than he does working. I put in over twenty hours and literally did half the work myself. My house is covered in splattered concrete. He cleaned it by power washing the paint right off my house. The patio is level so it holds water in the middle of the pad. Another section is slanted toward the house where the water now leaks into the basement window. My yard is a literal wasteland from him leaving his tools and huge amounts of torn out soil in a dozen different places in the grass. There is spilled concrete in the grass, on the sidewalk, on the curb, and in the street that I asked him to clean up multiple times. There is gravel throughout my lawn. He did not backfill any of the areas he dug out causing my wife and me to both twists our ankles when stepping off the sidewalk. Two of my kids have also tripped on the edges of the unfinished sidewalks and fallen into the mounds of mud everywhere around my dead lawn. He agreed to fix everything I asked and I even said I would pay for the materials needed. In turn, I was going to give him a good review. I have not heard from him in weeks. He does not, and will not return your calls, voicemails, texts, or emails. He would even get rude with me when I would confront him about not showing up or not working while on the worksite. I wanted this project done to increase the value of my house and make everything look nice and clean. I am now the white trash house on the corner with horrible concrete work. I will be doing everything in my power to get all of my money back. I thought Home Adviser was supposed to be a trusted site. Sadly, I was wrong. The BBB will be hearing from me soon about MC Creative Concrete.

Good work at reasonable costs for a young start up company. Struggles with communication but he is a very hard worker. Some nights stayed until 12-1am even 2am at times.

Matt did a great job. the steps are curing up nicely.

Not dependable, they lack equipment to do work required, they lack good commmunication skills. Did not show at job site on time or not at all. Poor planning and poor customer service skills.
