MC's Service and Repair is a full service real estate and home repair company. Our owner Doyle Caffrey founded MC’s in 2006 and is a licensed real estate broker and engineer. We offer a wide range of services ranging from electrical to plumbing to HVAC repair. We also specialize in apartment turnover work for investors. We pride ourselves on providing dependable, quality, and honest service to home and business owners in the Chicagoland area. We are so confident in the quality of our work that we offer a 1 year warranty. If something breaks down as a result of our work we will fix it at no extra cost... guaranteed! We are available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to discuss your project and provide a free estimate.

Steve came to my house and installed a fan w light. Put the fan together first He then replaced 6 under cabinet puck lights and did a great job. He was on time and a real gentleman Thx MC

Saw all the excellent reviews, so I decided to hire him to install a new bathroom light fixture. The job required modifying the fixture so the electrical wires aligned with where the wires came out of the mirror. Additionally, some of the drywall behind the mirror had broken off, so mounting the fixture took more skill and additional modifications. The job was done so fast and so well! Definitely hanging on to this number for the future! Thanks!!

Hire them! Extremely professional and competent. I had a variety of small jobs just the kind of stuff most people never call you back about, and they promptly responded, sent someone to assess, provided a quote, and they did the work very well. All within a couple weeks. I would definitely hire again and definitely recommend.

Excellent work. Both Doyle and his colleague Steve are proficient and professional jacks-of-all-trades. I had electrical and plumbing work done by Steve, who was very conscientious and knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly and cleaned up after himself. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with his work, and the price was right. Doyle was able to take a beautiful round wood table top with no legs that I have lugged around for 13+ years because of its beauty and turned it into a completed table that I will treasure and use forever. After viewing/analyzing the table top, he then went out and found and painted the necessary legs for it. He took the time to drill into this thick/hard beautiful wood and hand screwed the bolts in which proved to be no easy task due the thickness. As a man of impeccable engineering, maintenance and craftsmanship I would recommend his services to everyone.

At 5pm on a hot August afternoon we discovered that our 40 year old den baseboard heater was throwing out heat and could not be turned off. I contacted Doyle; when his suggestions on how WE could try to turn it off did not work, he said he would come to our home within the hour. When he arrived he determined that the unit was fine, but that the thermostat was worn out. He disconnected the unit and said he would return to install the replacement part...which he did in a timely fashion. We appreciated his quick and professional response as well as his reasonable prices. We will most certainly use his services again.

The handyman was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable with him in my house unsupervised. The work for the cost was excellent and he was very up front about what my expectations should be. Needless to say they, they were exceeded. I would highly recommend his services for any handyman work.
