Concrete is a natural product, and even properly installed 4000 PSI, 6-inch concrete can develop hairline or shrinkage cracks as it cures. These types of cracks are recognized throughout the concrete industry and do not necessarily indicate poor workmanship or structural failure. Concrete strength (4000 PSI versus 3000 PSI) does not guarantee that concrete will never crack. It simply provides greater compressive strength. When you contacted us, we did not ignore your concerns. We remained in communication throughout the process, explained what was occurring, discussed industry best practices, and outlined the options available to address your concerns. We also returned to your property in an effort to resolve the cosmetic issue, even though the crack did not affect the structural integrity of the driveway. In addition, we made every reasonable effort to work your service into our schedule between previously committed projects because we genuinely wanted to find a resolution that would leave you satisfied. Throughout this process, we exercised integrity, communicated openly, and made every effort to stand behind our work. We also offered to continue working toward a solution, but unfortunately we were not given the opportunity to complete a second approach that we believed could further improve the appearance. We understand that you expected a flawless appearance, and we respect that. While we may disagree on the cause and severity of the issue, we have consistently acted in good faith and worked toward a fair resolution. We are disappointed that, despite our continued efforts to communicate and resolve the matter professionally, the situation has escalated into repeated negative attacks against our business across multiple platforms. We believe concerns are best resolved through respectful communication and a willingness to work together.
