M&d contracting

Michael Pierce did not complete the project, fulfill the contract. We paid for materials (not smart... I know that for sure now) and it has been a month without any work. He had excuse after excuse and recently has not responded. Do not hire. We are thinking Small Claims Court.

Edited/added- The project was to put a cement slab next to our garage. They wanted 70% upfront money. Said they needed it for the rock and cement delivery. Unusual, but no problem. They did the job, a little shoddy and messy, but said they would come back to finish and clean up. We paid before the final removal of framing and rebar, as per their request and I ignorantly tipped them too. We waited a couple of days, called, and left a message. Called again a couple of days later and he said he would come by to finish after a job he was on. I called again a few days later, no answer and no return call. It was 11 days when we last saw him and wrote this review on Apr 28th. **Now three weeks have passed and we are still waiting for them to remove the boards and rebar so we can park our vehicle on it. FYI, all was recorded and saved. It is now May 7th and they still have not come to finish. My husband is a 100% disabled Vietnam veteran, and cannot finish the job himself. Michael Pierce knows this. After 3 failed attempts to hire someone to install my water heater Mike and his crew came through for me. Was a little late for the appointment but always kept in contact and got it done in a timely manner.

Mike showed up and was timely, professional and did a great job! He performed the work that was promised for an exceptional price and kept my property concerns in mind. Will definitely hire for future jobs! Thank you!
