Mate did an exceptional job on my parents floors. He sanded, stained, put clear coat on and buffed them. He came back the next morning to put another clear coat on. He was very punctual and professional throughout the entire process. No mess in the house and very clean work. Price was very reasonable for the top of the line quality he provides. Would recommend him to anyone!

The contractor was excellent. Meta explained what was included in the quote and answered all of my questions. He gave me the time frame in which the work would take place. Once the work started he worked diligently and answered any questions I had. He gave me the time he would be at my home each day and he was there. He let the room that the work took place in neat and clean. Very professional. Excellent job.

We had two people out for quotes. One was a big business and the other Mate. The bigger bussines quoted us SIGNIFICANTLY higher than Mate. We ended up going with Mate not only because the cost, but he genuinely seems like an honest, great guy when you meet him. You will understand if you meet him. He worked around our weird vacation schedule and did an amazing job! My wife still comments on how it feels like a new home when we walk into the rooms he refinished.

I would have given a higher rating for the Living room, hallway and steps, except for the issues with the risers which were untouched with the old stain and varnish-- The risers were not done like the rest of the floors so they looked ugly.

When referencing the estimate sheet that was given and agreed upon by you on the initial estimate, it states that only the treads were to be refinished. There is an additional cost for the risers to be refinished and you did not choose to have those completed. I attempted to contact you to further discuss this discrepancy.
