Write a ReviewPablo was wonderful to work with. He was quick, efficient, and educated me on how to maintain my sliding door. I would highly recommend him. And the work was done m Sunday!
Avoid MFL Sliding Doors at All Costs ? Dishonest and Overpriced! If I could give zero stars, I would. We hired MFL Sliding Doors to service four 10-foot sliding windows that are only three years old. Their technician arrived and immediately claimed that all the wheels needed to be replaced?without even attempting any adjustments?quoting us a ridiculous $6,000 for labor and parts. It gets worse. When he started on the first slider, he removed the existing wheels only to replace them with rusty, used ones from his truck! Thankfully, we caught him in the act and stopped the work before more damage could be done. Feeling suspicious, we called multiple other companies, all of whom quoted between $200-$800 for the same job. Several experts confirmed that the wheels did NOT need to be replaced and that MFL flat-out lied to us. A simple adjustment and servicing would have solved the issue. This company is a rip-off, preying on unsuspecting homeowners with dishonest tactics and outrageous
Great service
Just had an estimate done from Pablo at MFL sliding doors and was very pleased with the experience. I usually dread having estimates done because they involve endless waiting around hoping the person actually shows up, feeling like they’re padding an estimate to see how much $ they can get from you, and wincing at the way they treat your home ( careless with wood/glass/vinyl surfaces, things handled roughly, dirt from shoes, fingerprints, etc). None of this was an issue with Pablo from MFL; he was on time, knowledgeable, respectful of our time & our home, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. When I booked the appt, they gave us a 2 hour (8 to 10 AM) window for arrival. On the day of our appt not only did Pablo arrive right on time at 8AM (!) but he called first when he was about 20 minutes away letting me know he was on his way. When he arrived he immediately offered to remove his shoes after noticing we had left ours at the door, to me this sent the message that he was respecting our property and was also observant and attentive to detail - which are traits I want when hiring someone to work on my home. Overall it was a positive experience.
$375 per hour x 2 for labor to replace sliding glass rollers, $80 per roller (2) and another $120 for premium rollers (2), a track cover $250, and $130 to cut the track. That is what they charged my naive mother who called them from a VAL PAK mailer whose builder grade sliding glass doors needed maintenance. The sliding glass doors were not gliding smoothly. When I found this out, the work was done and it was too late for me to intervene, I was livid. It makes feel ill that they can get away with taking advantage of senior citizens on a fixed income. It's too late for my mother but I hope that others who do their research will see what the cost is from this company and RUN. Many reviews like mine validate that this is typical for this company to charge ridiculous rates (check Yelp). They get their business from unsuspecting consumers and unfortunately the aging population is very susceptible. I looked up many other companies after finding out the charges and realized we probably
This company charged me $275.00 an hour for a total of $550.00 plus an additional 50.00 just in labor to fix my sliding glass lock. Thatâ s $600 for labor for two hours! My lawyer doesnâ t charge that much a hour. Then the cost to the replace the lock was 65.00 and 848.00 to replace 4 rollers for a total of 1,458.00. To top it off my door did not close properly and he had to come back and adjust it. He also broke the sensor to my alarm system. I called several times and requested that the owner call me back to discuss the bill and he/she never return my call. The technician name was Tom.
Crooks. They charged $150 just to show up to inspect a water leak window. I had to provide the ladder for them to get up onto my small roof to access the window. It took him two seconds to get to the window, which was like walking up a staircase. He told me the window needed caulking, and that he could do it for $400. When I told him that was egregiously overpriced, he called his manager and they immediately changed it to $200 and then told me it was a discount! I told him I wasnâ t paying $200 for him to go up on my ladder stand on a roof and use $20 caulk around a small window. I could buy the caulking myself and do it which I did in 15 minutes. It was clear that these guys tried to take advantage of me and wanted additional money on top of the $150 that I paid them just to show up. Stay away from them because they clearly have a bad faith intent to overprice you and rob you
Prompt service and wonderful quality work. Now I can open my door with my pinky. No effort required.
We had two huge sliding windows that had broken latches so our neighbors highly recommended MFL. From start to finish it was a stress-free process. We scheduled the repairman and have decided he can do magic with old, broken windows. He removed these ENORMOUS sliding windows, cleaned them, replace the wheels, fixed the latches, cleaned the tracks, and then put it all back together. He was a hero! We had another company come out and tell us we needed new windows, but Tom fixed the ones we had and saved us a boatload of money. Call them. Youll see how great they are.
They are kind they are professional and I had a perfect satisfaction experience from the service and also I got a very good price from them
