Minor Construction should be your first choice in contractors if you are interested in concrete or paver projects. George Minor settles for nothing but perfection. I was considering to replace my existing paver walkway and patio and George was able to renovate both at a fraction of the cost to replace. The project completely exceeded my expectation. Needed to get a pad poured at the receiving door of our warehouse. Another contractor was had to get in touch with and when I did he told me it would be 3-4 weeks before he could do it and I had already told him it had to be done before the end of Sept. So I reached out to George and he said no problem. He came out and looked at the site, gave me a price and said we will be here next Monday to dig out for the pad and pour concrete on Friday. He was true to his word and did an excellent job. And when I pointed out a gap at the door, he said for a few dollars more he would fill that in. And Monday he did. I would recomend MG Minor Construction for any concrete work you are considering.

Mr. Minor (Melvin) came to our home and did an excellent job removing all of the grass from the area between our stone patio pavers, and then he proceeded to fill in those cracks with a sealant to prevent any further growth of grass & weeds in the patio area. He also applied a protective coating over the patio. He arrived on time and worked efficiently. The patio looks great now--better than new! We are definitely pleased with his work. Melvin did excellent work building a 5x11 concrete pad for my two HVAC units. The HVAC installers complemented the quality of the concrete pad.

Our experience with George was top-notch. He was professional and maintained excellent communication with us throughout the project. He was able to identify the problem and fix it, something two previous contractors were not able to accomplish. I would definitely recommend this company to others as he will be the first one I call for future projects.

To begin, Melvin Minor of Minor Concrete Works is a true gentlemen. His work ethics are top notch. He is a perfectionist and is detail oriented. I would most certainly hire Melvin again should I have need of concrete work.

Great experience, George came out for the estimate and after agreeing to everything came out and started a concrete pad with pavers on top. Everything looks great and I would not hesitate to have him do another job for me.

Everything you would want in a repair experience. Quick and reasonable estimate, follow up visit before beginning the job, efficient and high quality execution of the task, topped with a friendly and pleasant staff. This was not a major project, loose bricks on steps and patio. Even so, we were treated as valued customers and would not hesitate to use them again. Oh, and they did the work for hundreds less than the first estimate we got!

As a homeowner I often don't know where to turn for quality and trustworthy contractors for small jobs I can't do myself. I've tried the internet before without satisfaction. However, Custom Concrete answered my initial request for an estimate immediately. That was the first time that has happened for me with HomeAdvisor and I knew then that my experience was likely to be good. George was on site in less than 24 hours and was able to begin work immediately, which also worked well for us. We accepted George's reasonable quote and he got to work. Phase one of the project required the demolition of an existing brick/concrete walkway and it proved to be twice as difficult (and time-consuming) as expected. George and his crew took it right in stride and got the job done. Our new walkway is level, solid and beautiful thanks to Custom Concrete and George's fine team of craftsmen. We plan to ask George to do more work for us and we highly recommend Custom Concrete for handsome concrete work done right.

Great experience doing a difficult job. George took care to move adjacent landscape blocks and made sure they were put back in place after the project. I would definitely recommend him for concrete work.
