Terrible, terrible customer service and zero people skills. Would not recommend. If you are assigned to him through your warranty company, request to be assigned to someone else. Trust me.
Response by MHR Services, Inc.: Sorry for the inconvenience, due to the current pandemic the availability of needed parts has been taking longer to get them shipped. Waiting for the part and then having to coordinate the install with my ductman created longer down times. Sometimes problems get out of my hands and control and we apologize for that.

I had my basement completely remodeled. I turned the the half bath to a full bath with a tub and a separate shower. I added a bedroom which is now attached to the bathroom making it a suite. I updated the washroom and put in a new furnace and air conditioner and all new wiring and recess ceiling lightning . Also, added new doors, one of which was a barn style door. Put in carpeting as well as tile. We used bead board and dry wall through out.

Joe Milio was very professional; and hired other well qualified local professionals to work with him as required, e.g. plumber, HVAC, woodworking - all excellent. We had complete trust in Joe and he always cleaned up the work site, was easy to deal with on a couple of changes, and was very respectful of our home. He made some great recommendations we decided on. Everyone who has seen our basement has said it was an excellent job. It does not look at all like a basement. Try him, you'll like him. He is very honest. Thank you Joe!

I had my heating and A/C unit replaced. It worked fine for the first 5 months and then it stopped working.
Response by MHR Services, Inc.: Customer did not give me a chance to come back and check system, she put a negative response post first before she called me back to let me know there was a problem. She was just mad because she had to pay with a credit card, and I charge a convenience fee of 3%.

Failed to tell me he charged an additional fee for using credit cards until after the job was done.
Response by MHR Services, Inc.: This is same customer with negative post on furnace install, told customer I accept payments with check, cash or credit card, she could only pay by credit card.

I thought I needed FREON. Turned out I didn't. My HVAC motor blew. Bigger problem, but great service and response time.

Project: Repair an Oil Fired Boiler or Radiator Heating System
Joe creeped my wife out. I wouldn't leave him alone with her again. The plumbing repair was completed in a timely manner and I haven't had a leak.
Response by MHR Services, Inc.: Not sure why this customer made this comment,we made heating repair to system at a very cold time, customer left baseboard heating off while they were away, repaired several leaks to cracked pipes. Went back when wife was there to get left over pipe fittings and left. Spoke to husband about comment, he said he would retract comment.

We did a complete kitchen remodel which involved enlarging the kitchen, replacing cabinets, countertops, flooring, windows, electrical wiring, lighting, plumbing and sinks. MHR Services worked with us as the project evolved and were professional, courteous and on time. I appreciated the opportunity to view their work and talk with other satisfied customers prior to signing a contract. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and would not hesitate to utilize their services again for other home improvement projects.

Joe and John were great. They were cordial, professional, and responsive to my needs. They gave sound advice on work that NEEDED to be done, and did not try to sell or provide any unneeded parts or service. It was nearly 100 degrees the day they installed my outside Heat Pump unit and they persevered under other than comfortable conditions. I am already considering having MHR back to do some other HVAC work. I can't recommend them highly enough.
