He had no idea what he was doing. I hired him to replace my porch railing. First he did not cut the spindles down so it was way too tall. The spindles were not evenly spaced or centered. When I brought this to his attention he said he could straighten the crooked ones but could not do anything about the ones that were off center (they were not just slightly off either) because he would have to take it apart. One of the spindles even had a screw sticking out the side of it!. He told me he could fix the crooked ones or i could pay him for materials and find someone else to finish the job. I had to hire someone else to come in and rip it all out and start over.

Mason inspected every board on our deck and recommended several be replaced that we had not noticed. Safety was our main objective and just having him inspect our deck was worth the money. He was responsive, knowledgeable, skillful and professional. We highly recommend him.
