About us

My name is Mike Unger. I have 25 years of experience working with concrete and have recently decided to branch off and venture out on my own, thus the business M & J Concrete, LLC, was born. I have done many driveways, sidewalks and patios along with other projects in the last 25 years. I hope to bring quality concrete work to people at a reasonable price. We are a locally owned and operated company that values honesty and integrity. We offer a variety of services that are customization to each individual project. You will find us to be competitively priced, paying close attention to the details of each and every project that we are involved with. We look forward to building lasting relationships, and guarantee your satisfaction!

Concrete Driveways & Floors Installation
M and J Concrete and the Owner, Mike Unger. The quality of work is very poor. He cannot tell the truth. I had J and W concrete in Osceola IN. Come to my door wanting to put a lean on my house because he never paid for the concrete. Now, I will likely be going to court. I will never recommend him and his crew to anyone. Do not use him... you will be sorry.

If zero stars were available, that is what I would post for this contractor. Whatever you do, do not hire M and J Concrete. We are in the process of contacting a lawyer to get funds to repair the work performed by this company. They angled the sidewalk and stairs towards the house, so we now have a nice river coming into the house any time it rains. They did not finish scoring the concrete. Splotchy gray concrete was put on the white concrete to hide flaws. They did not pour concrete in one large section of the driveway. And, one of the steps is shaped as a trapezoid and does not meet Indiana code. The paved alley is sinking since they took out the dirt underneath the edges that abutts our drive and did not replace the material for support. Too many issues to report.

Replied very quickly and completed a concrete patio and rock garden within a few days. Excellent company.
