Very respectful.

I hired James to make repairs to a fence which included standing a portion that had fallen back up, replacing some rotten wood throughout the fence, and rebuilding the gate. The price he quoted included his labor and materials. To save some money, I requested a quote for labor only and I would supply the materials. He sent me a list of materials that were needed and adjusted his labor price to reflect that I would be purchasing the materials. However, I did not â saveâ any money because on the morning we were scheduled to completed the repair, James added materials that were need to the list but did not update his labor price. As it was less than $100, I proceeded to purchase them without making a big deal of it. James and his crew proceeded with the fence repair after being approximately 30 minutes late, which again, wasnâ t a big deal for me initially. In addition, he also was supposed to return the following Monday to perform landscaping services on the property and secure the pool. This house is a rental and I live in major mesropotalian area where there is more competition so I knew prices were going to be higher due to the lack of competition, but I wasnâ t expecting them to be this much higher. Nevertheless, I ultimately chose this pro based on the great reviews and the initial interactions which were extremely pleasant. After the work was done (I was not present) I received a text from James that they were finished and the crew left the â extra materialsâ by the garage. I immediately went back to the house and called James and asked him to meet me back there to discuss some concerns I had. He indicated it would take it 20 minutes to get there but it was closer to 45 minutes before he arrived back. He immediately addressed two issues - he admitted that the new gate was not perfectly aligned and indicated it was aligned the â best it could beâ and addressed the fact the his guys completely missed the rear portion of the fence. I agreed and expressed the additional concern that there shouldnâ t have been any â extraâ material, which once I arrived, was more than half of what I purchased minus the $60 in wood nails. If I paid you x amount of dollars for for x labor, I was expecting x labor to be completed. If it took half of x materials to get the job done, then I should be paying half of x labor because you obviously quoted me too much. James agreed to complete the job and use the remainder of the materials, send me pictures of the completed job, and I would pay the remaining balance via the HomeAdvisor App upon completion. I should have requested a video as the 3 pictures I received did not fully capture the fence in its entirety. But , I still paid this pro as I honestly thought that had it not met my expectations once I saw it in person again, the James would correct it. Considering it has been two weeks now and I have not heard anything from the pro regarding the landscaping, I doubt that assumption is correction. As I had time to ruminate on how much I actually paid and the quality of work that was received, I I felt compelled to leave a review. If James reaches out after reading this review and offers to revise the work or completes the landscape work that was never done, I will update this review accordingly.

They were great! They all were very professional and respectful. They completed job within time that they said, and came to start the job when they said they would. Great Job! Very Pleased with the work. We need a sign for our yard,because have others interested after seeing our fence.

Mr. Newsome is friendly, kind and very professional. He and his sons did an excellent job I am very pleased with the job they have done, and yes I would highly recommend his services to everyone, my front lawn and backyard looks great.

I am very pleased with the job James and his crew did for me. They showed up on time and completed the work agreed upon. They cleared out heavy undergrowth around my fence lines. A very good and respectable man to work with. This review is an update to the character of the owner of Newsome Property Management Services. Mr Newsome entered into a gentlemanâ s agreement to purchase a tractor, trailer and implements I had for his business. Mr Newsome agreed to make installment payments almost a year has passed and he has not fulfilled his part and makes no attempt to pay or work off his part. He has left me no choice but small claims court.

Our yard looks great! Mr. Newsome and his workers were efficient, polite, and respectful. They worked steadily and did an outstanding job!
