M & J Tree Services & Stump Grinding

Had several trees taken down, all but one removed. This crew was very aware of areas that would leave damage and worked around those: septic tank, water meter, driveway and sidewalk impacts. I watched them work at neighbor's so I knew they were very good at what they do. They have my recommendation. They did a great job.

A representative from this company came out and quoted me one price said it was for everything tree removal and stump grinding. When they came out to remove the tree I was then told that the stump grinding was extra. I am a nonsmoker. I detest cigarettes. I do not appreciate someone smoking on my property and littering my yard with their cigarette butts. They were dirty-looking and wore extremely stained-up clothing. But there were 4 that showed up and I do not think there was a full mouth full of teeth amongst them so I do not think they really cared about their appearance. This is the first time I have used Home Advisor since you merged with Angi and I AM NOT IMPRESSED. Will think twice about future referrals from you.

Everything went smoothly. However, they did not remove the leftover stump grinding. The grindings were left in a 2 foot pile. They did come back and smooth out the pile upon request.

They came out to quote me. They have done tree jobs as well as stumps, bushes and shrubs. They always show up on time. They clean up very well - never any debris left. They are very safety conscience. Everything they said they would do, they did. Never up charged for anything. It was a great experience.
