Matt was amazing to work with! He was professional, knowledgeable, respectful. He excavated our barn and laid concrete, stamped a few places, did plumbing work, and redid our gravel driveway. He was wonderful to work with and I will absolutely hire him again when we need work done.

Matt came to remove and clear the hillside with his excavator and worked for 2.5days starting 6/8/22 He also said, will put 100% no brush/no weed commercial grade weed killer He also said will come back and fix the rest of the stuff but never came back. I called multiple times he never called me back or returned my messages. Here are the overdue work 1) clear the swail Eastman by moving the cut trees by him. He dumped all the trees in the Eastman which is reserved for utility and as a swail for the water to drain. -- I used another contractor paying extra money 2) He needs to grade the bottom of the hill to slope right to left 3) pathway slope needs to reduce 4) His excavator marks made my whole backyard bumpy. My lawn mover broke. 5) He put grass seed, more than grass 3 clover leaves weeds came and now I need to find a way to kill the weeds he added to my yard 6) the area his excavator moved needs to be flattened and smooth so I can walk, it is now very very bumpy 7) the hillside has weeds again and I have to find a way to stop weeds again as he did not put his commercial-grade weed killer to the whole hillside 8) did not finish installing the basketball hoop. - I used another contractor for this paying extra money I will not hire him again.

Matt came over to do the bid and was professional and very kind. He contacted me and came right over to give me a bid. After meeting him, I hoped the bid came in at a good price because he was so nice and confident I wanted to hire him on the spot. He gave me two bids and I did chose one. He came when expected and finished the job quickly and efficiently. His work fixed my driveway ruts. I highly recommend Matt and MK Excavating.

Matt & his team showed up when planned. They did a great job cutting down 3 overgrown pine trees. Did a great job cleaning up. Loved the outcome! Cannot wait for our next project. Highly recommend!!!

Great to work with, good communication and friendly service. Took the time to understand what I was looking for and suggest best course of action. Did a thorough and quality job and will definitely use again next time I need excavation/drainage work done.
