Polite, Personable, & Professional. On-time & On-point. Efficient & Effective. No pressure or up-sell tactics. I had a job that needed to be estimated and completed within a very limited time frame and budget. I received a quick response to my inquiry and after agreeing to terms, they were right back out with a team ready to work. Everybody seemed to have a specific job and knew what they were doing. They worked straight through the day removing, replacing, and priming wood siding before an expected rainstorm arrived. After a short delay due to the rain, they were right back out to complete the painting. They even replaced and painted a board on my front porch overhang on their own. I had a short conversation with each team member during the job which was both courteous and easy-going. Each one offered a word of thanks for the work after the job was complete. I recommend them for your remodeling/construction needs.

Kris and his crew came on the job at exactly 8 am as promised ,they started demo and i think they really enjoyed it !. the crew found more and more damage as the demo proceeded but they kept at it till all the damaged wood was gone ,by 5 pm they had most of the floor Joyce's installed and new plywood down .Dave is an excellent carpenter vert pleased with his work ,Kyle is the workhorse off the crew he will tackle anything ,Kris flows through the job like water down a hill ,he stays one step ahead of the crew so the job never slows down .I would 100% recommend M&K Remodeling to anyone wanting superior work done on their home ! thank you to the whole crew for a wonderful experience .

Too many days. The job is still not finished. Very poor finish. They really need a professional to do the job. Too many mistakes with the painting and barniz very low quality job too expensive 10.000 dollars to remove a piece of wall second floor and the same wall first floor put a railing second floor and first floor ,four columns 10.000 it’s too expensive I will talking with a prosecutor for the price I’m not rich I did saved money for this job.
Response by M & K Remodeling: In response to the above customer and the condescending rhetoric of her story let me take the time to explain how complicated the job and customer was through the entire process and maybe this will shed some light on the above subject matter: 1. Demolition: We removed an interior section of wall that was 14? wide x 22? high Removed existing stairway Removed existing closet Removed existing exterior columns Removed existing drywall for front door Installation: (this is where the problems began) We began by reframing the wall for upstairs and downstairs to open up the area for interior columns and handrail system to be installed. We replaced the drywall and taped, floated, and finished to the desired texture. Next came the stairway installation and the actual problems for the finishes began. We bought high end plywood for the treads and kick plates for the stairs. Once the install was complete and she had picked out the colors for the paint and stains we applied them correctly to the stairs. The finishes turned out great until she decided to change her mind and go darker on the stains so we applied a darker stain and at this point was completely satisfied. Then we installed the handrails and this part of the project seemed to be coming to an end...so we thought Meanwhile we replaced the exterior columns and painted and caulked. It was about this time she decided that she was not happy with interior finishes, so we went back in and started the touch up process of cleaning and applying additional paint to areas that had dried and needed to be addressed. Once this process was completed she was again ?satisfied? with the inside and we continued on the exterior of the home until we had finished. Now we needed to apply the poly urethane to the inside steps to seal them and once we did the job was completed. We had her walk the entire project and once she approved of it we left the site for this was the end of the job so we thought..... About a week later she calls me and tells me that she is not happy with the finishes, so being the responsible man I am I went back to address the issues she had with the work and again we went through the whole project and addressed the areas of her concern. Once we finished she agreed again that she was content.... so we thought And yet another week goes by and I receive another phone call of her expressing her dismay, so we go back and this time we resanded everything down and reapplied two coats of paint to the entire staircase and with her approval for the 3rd time we left and thinking we were finally done... not a chance!!! Another week goes by and u guessed it the phone rings and now she is complaining about the stain and the exterior columns, so this time we sanded the steps down again and restrained them and reworked the exterior columns. Now she has yet again approved all work... so far I haven?t heard anything else but the above accusations of a poor project and

Project: Install Drywall
First crew did a great job rebuilding the damaged wall. Very excellent. The painting crew not to good. The ceiling needs more work and clean up paint around the window frame needs to be done. I called them but no reply as yet. They forgot to leave my receipt for the job. Are you able to contact them? Or send me their number. Maybe I don’t have the correct one.
Response by M & K Remodeling: Ms. Julia, I've tried to contact you via the phone number you provided to me and unfortunately after 8 attempts to contact you and the multiple messages I've left you have yet to return my call. (228) 216-2619 This is the best number to reach me.

I was pleased that Kris, the "boss," was absolutely excellent in not only understanding what I thought had to be done but also gave me recommendations and other ideas to think about and decide on. The guys were on time, worked hard, and did a thorough job. All in all, I am recommending them without reservation. French door is now closing perfectly and securely and not a rotted piece of sill anywhere!

Project: Hire a Handyman
I had multiple repairs done to my home. Kris and his guys completed them all plus a few more that were unexpected! I was very impressed with the amount of work they did in one weeks time. And those days were very hot in the 100 plus temperatures. I really appreciated that guys!! They did an awesome job. The work was very neat and done right. I highly recommend them!
