Low cost, but you get what you pay for... Unprofessional. Very difficult to get a hold of. Didn't show up certain days, and not on time when he did show up. Did a very poor job in certain areas. One worker clearly didn't know what he was doing. Very dissatisfied with the service. Left the job incomplete. I had to finish it myself. Not recommended.

Well it is week number six in this 6-8week basement remodeling job, & they are STILL in the framing stage. The LIES have been consistent though, from the very beginning. As has been the untimeliness, the beating around the bush, the excuses... etc. To this point the contractor has received 90% of the TOTAL cost of the job, and has purchased the following: Wood, Screws, Waterproofing Paint, Conrete, Electrical Cable, & 7 Switch boxes. Any plumbing supplies were purchased by the plumber whom took the cost out of his fee; and whose 1 week plumbing job will be entering its 3rd week, because the contractOR failed to provide the fixtures necessary to complete the job. I was forced to ask for some of the money BACK from the contractor, so that both I and my wife could go & PICK UP the required fixtured(ie. Tub, Shower, Sinks, Toiler, Faucets, etc.). THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE with this contractor has been NOTHING SHORT OF A NIGHTMARE!! The unprofessionalism, the lies, the asking for more money, the delays, the lazyness, the lack of cleanliness... ALL play into to dealing with this contractor

My goal for repair was to have the deck power washed repaired and refinished. The weather made the job take a lot longer to do than I anticipated. But It is coming along ok. One problem I had is that most of these contractors rely on you to provide power instead of them using gas powered machines. Other than that I have had no problems with them. They do great work.

I use this contracting company on April 2004 for another job I had at my house. I am very disappointed with them, first of all they took our money and never finished our celing in the basement. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. I am filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on MK's Contracting Inc. - Mr. Brian Arfine.

While Brian was consistently courteous and cooperative in his communications and his efforts to simplify the furniture removal process, by the time his two employees arrived-several hours and a full day later than anticipated-and completed the job-without cleaning up a substantial mess or repairing damage to a wall caused by the removal of the furniture-I was a bit disappointed by the service. However, I would definitely recommend MK's Contracting, Inc. for more unusual, difficult jobs, as Brian was the only contractor I contacted willing to take on the challenge.

While Brian missed an appointment for an estimate (without calling) and was late for two subsequent appointments to do the job, his work was exceptional, particularly for the price. So, although he had a little problem in the punctuality department, he did a very good job for a very fair price.
