"The material was not purchased by us therefore we cannot guarantee that the color of grout that she purchased is not the same color on the box. She should of gone to the place where she bought it to state of the wrong color. I will be sending a representative to assist but the problem is with the product that the customer bought, I can guarantee my labor but if the colors turned out differently, that is the customers issue. I went out of my way to get the representative to go and check out the color of the grout. Representative stated it might be an old batch and lost strength of color and that is what he is going to go and check. He will check the date of when the product was manufactured and how long it was on the shelf. This is something that I, as a contractor did as a courtesy to that customer. I still have not gotten paid for this job, but depending on the results, hopefully the customer will feel more at ease once the representative takes a look at the product."
