I will start off by saying that MMB did come to our house and fix the issue with our drain. However, they charged us over two times the high average cost for hydro jet cleaning ("Hydro jet drain cleaning costs $250 to $800 on average") -- and searching around, even $800 is being generous. We should have said thank you and found someone else to do it, but it was late in the day and we were hoping to resolve the situation soon rather than later. They then added a 10% fee/surcharge to use a credit card -- the only method of payment available to us for a bill that ran over $2,000. Again, they came and fixed the problem and we can't complain about that. We also agreed to pay the extortionate amount they quoted us for the job, so we're not suggesting that they did anything illegal. However, they grossly overcharged for the service they provided, playing on the pressure of the situation. We will never use them again and will advise anyone against using them either.

I call this company on Tuesday, February 18/20, they come out the following day Wednesday, February 19/20. The job was to fix a leaking faucet in the bathtub. Two persons arrived, Mike and another Male. They looked at the work to do. Then they start to speak amongst themselves in their native language. Then they said that this type of fitting is old and no longer in use. They also said that my bathtub had three knobs, and now only one handle use in are being used. They said that to change everything from the old to new ones is $875.00. I told them that I only wanted the cold side fix as its leaking. They insisted that I changed everything out for $875.00. Against my better judgement, I did so. Instead of accessing the area from behind the wall they did so from the front (tile side), completely damaging the entire wall. They charged me $962.00 (7% tax and 3% cc processing fees), even though both were actually less. They left with a gaping hole in the wall, rendering the bathroom useless. Then telling me that I have to get a tiler to patch it up. Now I am out thousands of dollars to redo the entire walls, which obviously I did not plan for. Now on Tuesday 25, I realized that the leak had reoccurred. Immediately contacted them, initially I did not receive a response. But, I texted Mike and mentioned that I would contact my cc company to dispute the charge. Then, he immediately called, yelling that I was threatening him. He stated that he would come by tomorrow (yesterday) to fix the leak. Two days later no response. I am advising everyone stay from these people.

They were initially prompt and took care of our blockage issue. There was a leak in a PVC join that they came back once to repair. They did a quick fix instead of properly cutting it and redoing it. Several months later have another leak they kept telling us they would come back but they are not honoring their 2 year warranty. I had to pay someone else to repair their work.

I received a call within 30 seconds of posting to Angie s List. They scheduled the appointment for the same day and arrived when they said they would. Mike, the technician, performed the service and was on his way in 30 minutes. I would use them again. The price was not outrageous and well within what I thought it should be.

I submitted my request online with homeadvisor. They connected me woth MMB. Mike picked up the phone right away. An hour later he came over to snake out one of the main drains in the house. He finished cleaned up and explained what was the problem. I knew the pipes will have to be replaced. I did all the other plumbing work at the house myself and had an idea about what was causing the problem. I asked him for a quote. He gave me a great deal. A day later he was at my house doing the job with a helper. 4-5 hours later I have new drain pipes in the crawlspace and no leaks. 5 year warranty on the work. $175 for the snake and $1600 for the work that included digging up the old cast iron that was cracked and broken in the ground. They did a great job and cleaned up after the work was done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
