Vinyl Siding - Repair or Partially Replace
M and M Construction is a business partnership where one partner (Mr. F Matthews) lacks integrity and professionalism. I had very limited interaction with Mr. Milstead but overall their customer service is atrocious. M and M Construction was supposed to complete this project in 4 days and instead it took 14 days. During this delay we were not notified until day 12 when I called Mr. Matthews who had not been returning my messages. According to our contract, we were to choose the paint for our trim which we did, however M and M Construction went back and changed the paint we selected without notifying us. We also requested that since we live out of the area, that we receive photos between each phase of this project which we did not. We received photos after the project was complete. M and M Construction painted over the cable wiring and when I questioned them about it and asked for these photos specifically to verify that the surface under the wiring was painted as well, Mr. Matthews sent me photos of a house that appeared trimmed in white although my house was painted bayou blue. Lastly, our request through HomeAdvisor was for an estimate by a Pro to replace the vinyl siding, pressure wash, prep and paint the trim. M and M Construction went to our property and did and estimate for a different siding than we asked. We were not made aware until after we sent the deposit that the estimate provided by M and M Construction was not for vinyl. After all of the above mentioned issues, I did some research on the Texas Secretary of State business registry to locate the entity (M and M Construction) was unable to find them listed as a registered business entity in the State of Texas.
