They did a great job rebuilding my garage. Existing slab was damaged so that had to be dug out and new concrete poured. I was kept informed the entire time about next steps, when the inspectors were coming and any weather related delays. I would highly recommend M&M Humenik.

Professional with years of experience

Mike built a first floor addition on to our existing home, consisting of a master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 walk in closets, laundry room, and pantry. He stayed on the promised schedule, and the quality of work was excellent. He has a strong work ethic, and was easy to work with throughout the project.

Mike was very professional and was open to making adjustments as we moved through the project. We made a bunch of changes per the original architectural plans and Mike was willing to allow us to design the space we envisioned as we moved forward. I would certainly reach out to Mike in the future regarding another project.

I like to highly recommend Mike Humenik and son, not to be confused with M and M Construction (from the Jersey shore). Mike completed an addition on our residence within the allotted budget. We added over 1200 square feet to the back of our home, thereby adding 10 new areas for use (including a 30-foot ramp, a storm room, 30-foot Trex-like rape, and numerous skylights). Mike worked with our architect and over 40 people (subcontractors and crews) to complete this 4.5-month effort, in time. All of the subcontractors were very friendly and competent craftsmen. Issues were dealt with immediately. As a side note, Mike honored his guarantee by absorbing the cost of completely an error committed by one of the subcontractors. We would definitely call up Mike again as he is an honorable General Contractor.

We hired Mike based on other Home Advisor reviews and he lived up to his reputation. We knew, generally, what we wanted (bedroom, bathroom, closets) but beyond that we were novices. Mike was patient, connected us with an architect and they both went over our ideas and made great recommendations. Mike, his son, and his sub-contractors were all honest and professional. As things progressed, we made a few minor alterations and the charges for these were very reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner and the finished product greatly exceeds our expectations. We had one minor issue with hot water that delayed final inspection approval and Mike worked tirelessly to get the problem corrected and the approvals completed. Over the few months of this project, we not only worked with a trusted contractor, but we gained a friend. We would use Mike again and highly recommend him to others.

Mike has done a great job on our Bedroom and bathroom addition. He kept us well informed on every step of the process. He has went over and above. I would hire Mike again for any of my home improvement needs!

Mike is honest, hardworking and his prices are very reasonable. He has worked very hard to get the job done (kitchen addition) within our time frame, in spite of a personal injury off the job. The work isn't quite completed yet, but so far we are pleased with the result and workmanship.

We've hired Mike for two projects, but of which turned out extremely well. The latest was the biggest: replacing our deck with a fairly large four-season room. Mike recommended an architect who we enjoyed working with, and they worked with the township to answer all questions and get the building permits. Construction of any big project always seems slow but there was always steady progress made. Everything was done to at least meet, but usually exceeded, our expectations. The new room is almost always in use if anyone is at home. Mike had done a complete rebuild of our kitchen earlier last year, and this year we're planning on hiring him to do more renovations on the house. He's a very nice guy to talk with and wants to make sure the job meets your goals. It's easy to talk with him about concerns or to ask questions, and he made last-minute changes for us when we asked. Easy to work with. Highly recommended.

If I could give more stars I would! Mike was very professional, great price, good quality of work, and overall a good contractor. Very polite and friendly. He did two large jobs for us; a bathroom addition and a sun porch renovation. We felt at ease and trusted Mike from the first meeting. He provided very professional workmanship and his experience was evident in the finished product. We provided a punch list of items we wanted corrected when the job was done and every job on the list was completed to our satisfaction. In addition, the job was done on time, with workmen staying long into the night to complete the work on time. My neighbors recently hired M&M for their kitchen renovation based on my recommend and are equally pleased.

Mike was an excellent choice for my carport addition to my house. He was at my house on time every day and he kept in constant contact. His work was over the top making sure the job was above standards. The work was clean and professional. We are very pleased with the finished product and would not hesitate to contact him again with future projects.

Mike was here every day. He worked mostly by himself, had help with some of the larger/heavier aspects of the projects and he completed the job on time. Excellent job and he cleaned up the worksite when the job was finished.

Mike calls you every Sunday night and reviews the week ahead and asks if you have any concerns.
