M/M Window Treatments

These people scammed my elderly parents. They took almost $1,000 from them and have not delivered any product after 8 months. They make up every excuse in the book, saying they are going to show up and then don?t. They even resold my parents? $11,000 curtains, saying they would split the profit with them, only to never respond. Do NOT trust them.

Beware of this scammer husband and wife- Chris and Millie Mellick. Its been 5 months and they haven't delivered the drapes- taken 50% deposit. Every-time these shameless people come with different excuses. Please report to police about these shameless people and let other people not fall for their promises and good talks regarding drapery. Everyone who have used them and paid them 50% and have not gotten the drapery are very very mad.

I never write reviews, but I feel obliged to in this instance. I hired them to do curtains for my entire home, and they gave an ETA of few weeks. After three months, no curtains were installed. I had to submit a credit dispute to get back my initial 50% deposit. They are very nice and responsive before you sign the contract, but soon as you give them the deposit there is radio silence. They kept making false promises, and kept giving one reason after another for their delays. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I do not understand how anyone can run a business this way. I wish them the best and I hope they improve, but I came away supremely dejected. Just thinking about this situation makes me sad. Please avoid if you want to keep your sanity.

I hired Millie and her team thinking that I should support small business for the installation of my drapes and blind. I paid them full cash immediately after our first conversation. They are smart they reply to first service immediately and tries to impress us but once they get the money they show us a big attitude as if i am making them do the work for free. So on my case its been 5 months already but still they have not showed up at my place to complete the work. And when I call them they say they are going to make it and they even give you the date but when the day comes they have a good solid stupid reason like their guys car broke, sometimes they dont have power on their company and they even say it will take 2,3 days for the power outage to come (funny right) sometimes their whole employee and employer get sick. Wow what a fantastic reason they have. And talking about the attitude thats amazing lol. They are not able to finish our work and when we express to them our frustration they say its disrespectful wow. They think they only feel disrespectful. What about us for not getting the service we paid for? I was frustated so much and i said I want my refund and they can take their stuff away and they dont do that too and they give us an attitude or do not reply our text or call. My patience level has completely fallen off and now I am anyhow taking refund and returning their stuff.. Please people dont trust these people. We value our money and its hard for us too but these peope they only take the money and do not complete the work so find somebody more professional people than them. We pay them to see their attitude!! They do not even feel guilty they give us back a big fat attitude. Its been 5 month already and my work has not been completed. Trust me guys dont trust these people. I was never a person to put a review on business but these people forced me to put a review so that no other people have to suffer.. Very unprofessional with a big attitude.

Hired Millie and she was a one stop shop for our new houseâ ¢ She came out and measured all our windows while we choose samplesâ ¢ Our house looks amazing and the price was reasonable.

LIE LIE AFTER LIE!!!! A terrible experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I PAID MILLIE CASH ON THE FRONT. 7 months later still no shutters. Her installer Chris has an attitude and he does not know how to install shutters. After calling and repeating calling over lie said they were coming and NO SHOW. SCAM PEOPLE. I HAD TO FINALLY GET. MY MONEY BACK. I HAD TO CALL ANOTHER COMPANY which installed within 6 weeks a beautiful professional job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They are unprofessional. When I asked for a refund they ghosted me.

Professional was able troubleshoot the problem and come up with a solution.

I feel very foolish to have believed them. They took my deposit and continued to string me along before I realized they were never coming back. The company name is M/M Window Treatments. Lady claims her name is Millie Mellick and her installer said he was Chris. I am just speculating, but I wonder if they might be impersonating an actual company. Home Advisor and Angi should analyze their IT so that dishonest vendors are not allowed to either hack into their system or impersonate an actual company.

Horrible experience very dishonest work practice. Many delays and broken promises do not use this company.

I initially ordered the curtains and they were beautiful but asked Milly to add some bling. I knew this would be time consuming and tedious, they turned out spectacular!!!!!

Great value and great job. They came out measured my windows and I selected the fabrics.

Poor customer service quoted delivery 2 weeks but the end was a month there were 5 appointments in which they either missed or were our hours late many excuses no respect for customer time. Did not steam the drapes nor they bring the tie backs. The worst experience!

I hired this company to simply install brackets so I could hang my rods and curtains. I wanted to ensure that they were done by professionals so that my curtains wouldn't end up on the floor. Well, the service I got was anything but professional. We had agreed on a Saturday at 1pm. No one showed or called. At 1:20 I sent a message through my Angi app to ask if there was a time range that I wasn't aware of. The person I spoke with - whom I'd assumed was the owner (Millie) - responded right away with an apology and said she would check with the installer. I waited and waited. Over an hour later I sent her another message saying that if her guy couldn't make it, we could reschedule because I had other errands to run. She apologized again. I responded with, "Maybe I can do what I have to do, and they can come later." I never heard from her again that day. I sent her another message late that night saying I would be sure and leave my review of her company on the Angi site. I got more apologies the next morning. She said he could come that day at 3:30. He showed up early with an attitude. He asked how many windows we had (something he should have already known) and said, "He didn't have time for this. He had another job to get to." We wanted our curtains up badly, so we just let slide. The first brackets he put up were crooked and not in the same location on each side of the window. They were also too low. My curtains were dragging the floor. They aren't that type of curtains. The second bracket installation he attempted was over vertical blinds in front of a patio door. We didn't think about the fact that the brackets could possibly be too short to extend out past the blinds. They were. He installed them anyway and followed with putting the curtains on the rods and hanging them. It was a sight. His attitude is still present because our simple install is keeping him from his next job. I'd had enough and asked him to leave. I called Millie and told how our job was being handled and about his attitude. I also told her that I had asked him to leave. More apologies. She said eventually the guy admitted that he was wrong. Millie then offered to come personally, along with the installer to make sure the job was done properly and we were happy with the results. She also offered to do the job free of charge as an apology for the service we received and our inconvenience. We scheduled another date. I got a message saying that they were trying to finish up at another job and she would let me know when they were done. This was close to three in the afternoon. I didn't hear from her again. Around 5:30, I told don't bother coming at all. She then offered to come the next day. I said no. I'm done. Hire these people if you have time to waste. I think what I needed done didn't take priority because it wasn't an expensive job.

We had a difficult issue and they worked with us and got it fixed. They could have tried to sell us new shade, but fixed our current shade!

I supplied the materials and used mm window treatment for installation only but Chris took the time and care to correctly install the roller blinds and the curtain rods. Really appreciate how meticulous Chris was in helping me figure out the channel for the motorized shades and helping me program them. I would definitely hire them again and probably do the custom drapery with Millie.
