MOB Construction

They came and put asphalt down on top of older asphalt. Did a fair job. Left a lot of extra asphalt in my yard which shouldn?t have been left. They just came back with a bunch of double talk about a sealer/hardner that we had paid 10% down on to be done. Asked my husband to sign the contract which was blank. We asked how much and all they said was $2 to $3 per gallon. When they were done, about 10 minutes, they said it was $15,000. We said no way were we paying that for what they just did. Offered them $1,000 they said no we will see you in court. Also would not give us a copy of the contract unless we signed again! All they sprayed on the driveway was a very light coat of blacktop sealer.

Terrible job. The driveway was done less than a month ago. We have a large area that has grass blades and dandelions growing through the asphalt. Many other areas that vegetation is coming up through. The 3 lane driveway is not a smooth finish. There are big gaps between the stone that is only tar. They were called and we were told the warranty does not cover vegetation. Finally they came out. Their fix was to heat up all these problem areas and reroll them. Did not fix the problem at all. Now we have grass and dandelions growing all over the driveway again. They wanted to spray weed killer- not an option as we have free range chickens. Since all the review dates are invalid today?s date is September 18, 2025. **Do not hire this company** > Attached pictures taken after they fixed the problem. Parking area looked good when it was complete. However, when it rained it was a different story. Huge area of puddling. I have contacted them 4 times. After the 2nd time they called back and said they would be out in about a week or so to look. Never showed, called, nothing. Have lot additional voicemails and they dont return calls. This needs fixed. I spent too much money for this safety hazard the minute it freezes in the winter.

Job was well done, on time, and as requested. I would recommend this company without hesitation. Good job!

The crew was efficient and careful. They worked hard and had to do a considerable amount of hand tamping because of our concrete retainer walls. They blended the turnaround and the main drive perfectly!!
