Jose of Modern Oak Design is a gifted landscaper with old school attention to detail. All I thought I needed was a retention wall and a small paver patio. He turned both into statement pieces that recreated our back yard. He has a real gift for landscaping. His hard-working crew did a great job turning Joseâ s concept into reality. They were also very pleasant to be around, and punctual! Never have I seen such an integral team of contractors from deliveries to workday hours. Nothing is inexpensive these days, but Jose does not over charge like some in this business. He also suggested ways to save. If you need a landscaper, this is who you should hire.

With their vision they resolved our foundation concern with a section of our property that was slopped, dangerous and unsightly by building a retaining wall with a walkway and patio area; the width and distance of the wall and walkway was substantially increased compared to other estimates we received. Jose is flexible with changes and/or additions; he truly goes above and beyond. He is always pleasant; he and his crew were very clean and easy to work with, his demeanor, knowledge and professionalism helped to make this experience a pleasant one. Thank you Jose for transforming our property from unusable to an awesome and enjoyable area and it looks great!
