Totally pleased with Modern Yardz Inc. From initial contact and setup with Jake to daily contact with Isaac throughout the project. They were a pleasure to work with. David and Sergio are hard workers and highly skilled. David is a problem solver and made sure we were totally pleased with the final product. These guys are a great team that I highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their yard.

Attention to detail, excellent communication, and a collaborative team is key in having a great end result in any project. Thomas and Isacc were awesome to work with and we appreciated all the time they took to answer questions, navigate the project efficiently during design changes, and offer quick solutions to construction issues (though very little) that arose. We are in a new build neighborhood, and although there were many other landscape contractors offering their services, we chose Modern Yardz because they were interested in giving us a real design, not one that was copy and pasted from another contractor's work in the neighborhood. Thomas was great in working with us through our budget, design, material selection, and offering alternatives to our "must haves" until we were comfortable with our numbers. Isacc was our PM and kept us updated daily on progress, schedule, and making sure communication was being made with the crew that was out here working. We ended up with a gorgeous finished project that we are in love with. Thanks again Thomas & Isacc, it was a pleasure working with you both!

Modern Yardz helped transform my front and back yard to a low maintenance beauty. From the start, Thomas put together some great designs that matched what I was looking for. Once the project started, the level of professionalism and speed with the it was unmatched. The team showed up when they said they would and kept everything clean. I was surprised by how quickly this job got done and it looks fantastic. I've been receiving endless compliments from neighbors and friends. Esteban, the lead, was excellent and great with communication. He went above and beyond to help me address concerns, communicate what was going on, and even came and watered my new plants throughout the project when I told him I didn't have a green thumb. Would highly recommend Modern Yardz to anyone in the San Diego area with landscaping needs!

We very much enjoyed working with Thomas and Esteban - the teams work exceeded all of our expectations. They were extremely professional, easy to work with, always kept us in the loop, and were very accommodating to our mid-project changes. We started with a general idea of the aesthetic we wanted, Thomas helped design and refine it, and the Modern Yardz team executed it to a tee. We were impressed by the level of care they took in every aspect of the project and the final result turned out amazing. Everything was simple - no surprises. Highly recommend!

Modern Yardz did a great job on our landscaping! Frankâ s crew worked so hard and fast, and the results are great! We did all new front yard and back yard, from scratch. New driveway, boardform concrete planter boxes and fire pit, bbq island, big patio, pergola, custom decking around a hot tub, artificial turfâ ¦ Frank and Thomas made our dream yard come true.

Realistic time lines. Got the work done mid 2021 when there were supply chain issues and he kept us updated on those issues. We've done a lot of work with different contractors, he was the easiest to work with. Really did a great job!

Good response time, good pricing and everything happened very quick. Very happy with them.
