Very professional. I had them move a couch and rocker recliner. They arrived on time and actually took the time to wrap my furniture in plastic to protect it during the move. That was totally unexpected. I would definitely recommend this company for local moves.

I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner, who gave me the estimate. he recorded all his employees would achieve, on our behalf and it was followed through with expertise. There were four movers , one being theowner's son. They were respectful, compliant to our needs and organized. The men TRULY worked with a spiirit of team work and efficiency!!! I would encourage anyone to hire this company. We had left two ladders in the garage and when we realized it, a week later, they went to pick up and delivered to our daughter's address , as the ladders belonged to my son-in-love. Great moving company!! NOTHING, got broken!!!

Inconsistent results. Some items packed very carefully, others packed without regard for whether contents were breakable. A few items didn't arrive at all. Some boxes were not labeled, despite repeated requests to ensure contents (or room of origin) were identified. Driver/team leader was not polite, and I was informed by the manager/owner that "we all have bad days." Manager/owner apologized for "miss-marked boxes" and said that since my items were moved from point A to point B without damage, the move was successful.

"Sorry to hear that Ma'am. We do a "Final Walkthrough" with the client on all jobs to assure everything that was planned to go, went. We only take what we are told. As for labeling boxes, we have to keep the descriptions brief. We want to get your 3 bedroom house packed and moved at your request in ONE DAY in a timely matter. Yes, you are correct, movers are definitely not always happy and cheery. They do their best under the circumstances (heat, humidity, full pack and move 3 bed in one day, lifting heavy objects day in and day out for a living). And yes, getting items from Point A to Point B without damage is every moving companies goal, the good thing is that we succeed. We know this was a stressful time for you. It is for everyone moving. We are sorry that we could not fully satisfy you. Our apologies."

Out-of-State Moving Service
This move was particularly stressful as we were trying to get out of town as a hurricane was about to hit. The company sent an additional crew to help load the trucks more quickly at no additional charge. The movers kept in phone contact with me as we made our way through evacuation traffic to North Carolina. These guys took time away from their families during a hurricane in order to help my family. All of our things were packed professionally and delivered damage-free. It was a crazy weekend but everything worked out thanks to the Pros at Move-Rite.

prompt call back, booked a Sunday move which was excellent as I had to place 3 items outside for Monday p/u. This was a small move from garage to bedroom and remove large piece from bedroom to curb. The price was right and Tammy was very friendly and understood my concerns. Let's how everything goes on Sunday.

I had an excellent experience with my move on Saturday morning due to the service Victor and his partner provided. They showed up to my apartment within the hour time frame and even gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. Both men were extremely courteous and had a system down to make the move as fast as possible. They made sure everything was well padded and shrink-wrapped if necessary and were very careful when handling my belongings. This company quoted me the most reasonable price between all of the moving companies I researched and it was well worth every dollar spent. I don't tend to leave online reviews but could not let the service these two gentlemen provided go unrecognized. Thank you for making my move as easy as possible. I will definitely recommend your services to my friends and family in the future!

Customer service is spotty -- the reps don't seem to communicate details to each other. One of the two movers was careless with delicate furniture, resulting in damage to 3 pieces of furniture. The men worked hard but too roughly! Also I was told twice that the truck would have mattress covers, but it arrived without them.

"Greg, we are VERY sorry to hear about all of this. There are LARGE king size rolls of mattress bags on EVERY truck. We have FREE wardrobe boxes & mattress bags on every truck for our clients. Sound like you LEAD may have been having a bad day from the start with inspecting his truck in the morning. Movers are human and occasionally this happens. We all have a bad day at work occasionally when nothing seems to be going right and when it rains, it usually pours..... Regretfully this is not your fault but we have not heard about any damages and we are insured up to 3M??? Were glad to help. They must have been minor??? As for "Reps" and communication, you call, we place the order, the Lead gets a print out, and we move the furniture from point A to point B. We can only improve our business by corrective criticism, so please let us know what communication may have been missed. Folks, before placing a bad review, please don't be afraid to just pick up the phone and call for a resolution first. We are happy to help. We can't help you if you don't call...... My ratings may conflict a little because I had two crews. The first showed up at 3 pm and did not seem organized at all and wound up walking off the job and leaving the 5 small pieces of furniture that they had moved at my front door. The crew leader said this was because I asked him to move my items "as if they belonged to his mom". It was the most unprofessional thing I have seen in a very long time. The owner did get another crew to me at 8 pm and they were fantastic and very professional. Curtis the owner is loyal to his employees but a customer should have to something very bad to try to justify a crew walking off the job. I feel that I should have been given some kind of a discount for all the aggravation caused by the unprofessional behavior of the first crew. I think Move Rite probably does a good to great job most of the time but I didn't get one of those times despite the fact that the second crew could not have worked harder or been more polite. Sadly, I won't use them again.

"This is proof that moving doesn't ""DISCRIMINATE"", we move all types of people..........Thank you for your comment about MY (THE OWNERS) loyalty to it's employees and that is why I most definitely removed your first crew because of your blatant discriminatory remarks and attacks, the minute they arrived, directly to the only BLACK MAN that was on your 3 man crew. (By the way, he actually has a Bachelors in Science and is probably more educated than the 2 of us put together). Next time tell the office you prefer an ALL WHITE CREW in advance and you will not have this problem. As a Christian business owner, I do forgive you, my employee is still having a tough time with forgiving you, and I regretfully would have to refuse any future work for you as well. You should have given us 5 STARS just for the fact that we had to assemble an ALL WHITE CREW and returned to move you. Do you honestly think people believe we left your house because you asked us to "move the items as if they belonged to our mom". Please Sir. I prefer that the HONESTY flows in both directions. I will not lower myself to telling these folks what you said about, and directly to, my black employee. I will pray for you and your new neighbors Sir. Very sad. Very sad."

They give you this song & dance about being a Christian based company & once you contract them the horns come out. They damaged a furniture & refuse to give me their insurance info. To make matters worse, they charged my credit card again the next day without my consent. I had only authorized one charge. There's something fishy with this operation as they use several names with different addresses. Play it safe & Pay more with another outfit & ask for insurance info upfront.

We regretfully have no idea who you are. We will contact Home Advisor for you. Our address is 2020 S. Dean Rd. Orlando, FL 32825. It has been since 1993. We are aware though of another company that posed as us recently called Move RIGHT in Winter Park. We are MOVE-RITE in Orlando.
