They are very prompt and very professional. The guys doing the work did an awesome job repairing not only the wall needing repair but also pointed up the surrounding block as well at no extra cost.

i hired Marvin the end of Sept . I sent him half the amount (8,000). I asked for the work to be done by Nov 1. He said they would start 1 Oct. There were heavy rains which caused a delay. I had to write and ask when he would start. On 5th he wrote he was behind schedule and would begin the following Mon or Tues. (Oct 12th or 13th) No one showed up so 13 Oct I wrote again asking when he was starting.n He wrote back saying he was behind schedule and would begin Fri Oct 16 to start prep and demo. With no show again, I called. Marvin wrote back saying excavator was set to start but wife had a baby day before so he couldn't and would begin Mon or Tues. 20 Oct he wrote again and said Miss utility had messed up my address and the excavator would not start until that was done which would be in a couple of days. Utility came Thurs and I have not heard when The excavator will show up. while I understand there can be delays, I don"t understand why I had to keep contacting Marvin instead of him advising me of what was going on. I have given all categories 1 star because I can't rate it until the work is complete. I will submit an updated review when it finally gets completed. As a follow-up review and to be fair, while the job wasn't finished on time, Marvin and his crew did an excellent job. We love how the job came out.

Exceptional workmanship and professionalism. Marvin and his crew were outstanding to work with--so rare to find these days.

Our fairly large front porch had visibly crumbling mortar in a few places. Marvin came out on a Sunday, the same day I contacted him, and gave a very reasonable bid to do the work. He worked it into his schedule and got it done within a few days. They did a very thorough job, replacing a lot more mortar than I had noticed was defective, and did a nice job of tuck pointing and matching the color. Marvin was personally involved and very responsive by phone and email. When there was a bit of delay in getting the final clean-up done, Marvin responded personally to my message and got it done quickly.

The contractor is efficient, prompt and highly professional

The contractor (Freddie) that came out was very knowledgeable regarding EIFS repair. The work was done promptly and professionally. The repair looked so good afterward that I can't even tell any work was ever done. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing any EIFS work. Will be keeping this company's number for any future repairs.

Mostly excellent work at a good price - 25% less than my other estimate. Performed all work agreed with good quality in a reasonable time. They even returned to correct a drainage problem at no cost. However, minor issues were concrete splatters on my driveway, failure to remove some roots they were supposed to, and leaving the backfilled soil full of old brick and block fragments, making it hard to replant vegetaion. The owner was sometimes prompt and sometimes slow to respond to questions. The workers need to learn more English. I do recommend the company and would use them again.

I am very happy with the service I received. Fredis and his staff were on schedule, very professional, and responded patiently to my concerns. Fredis pointed out modifications to the initial scope of work I had envisioned which resulted in a much better outcome, and I am very pleased with the results. I plan to use M.R. Contracting again for additional work.

I was very impressed with M.R. Contracting from the initial contact. Marvin responded promptly to my estimate request, and he and his crew made quick work of my project. The work quality was excellent! I feel I received value for my money and would hire them again.

What a wonderful experience! We had some delay because of the weather but he kept in touch and the work was completed quickly when we were able to start. We had to make a couple of adjustments to the plan on the fly (the road committee in my neighborhood) and he worked them out without a problem. The finished work looks amazing - better than I even imagined it could. I have been bragging about Marvin's work since he finished it and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Marvin and company are great! Very rapid response and scheduled right away. Easy to talk to and work with. Came pretty much on time and completed the job well and within budget. We were so pleased, we had them do a smaller job we also needed done in our garage for which they gave us a very good price. I'm considering hiring them again next year to do some bigger jobs (fix chimney and a concrete floor). Highly recommend them!

The did an excellent job. Showed up on a timely basis, worked very hard the entire time and were fastidious about making sure the job was done correctly, and spent a long time in cleaning up afterwards, which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend them for brick work.
