BEWARE!!! DO NOT HIRE!!! SCAM ARTIST!!! We hired MRS Roofing to do a repair on my mom's garage roof as well as general maintenance on the house and garage roofs, with warranty for 5 years for a price of $2200. I found this company on two home websites, with several good reviews, which I now believe he wrote himself. I paid half on advance. Unfortunately I was out of town the day of the repair. My mom said a teenager was on the roof for an hour and a half with a caulk gun and then left without saying anything. He did not do at all what was in the written quote of removing and replacing rotten wood. The next day a team of 5 guys came out to collect the other half of the money from my senior citizen mother. When she told them the work wasn't done since there was still a hole in the roof, they filled the hole with 5 inches thick of caulk and proclaimed the job complete. My mom felt intimidated with the group of men and paid them the other half. When my family got back in town a few days later and inspected the job and could see that it was not complete. We noticed my mom made the check out to a different name than the man I had been conversing with. When I researched that name I discovered that this man is a local con artist. He uses different aliases: Pearce Gossett, Michael Gosset, Justin Milanovich, John Milanovich, Dave. It appears that his real name is Michael Milanovich and he is in a very corrupt business partnership with his brother Joseph Milanovich. Other company names: Motor City Roofing and Paving in Troy, All Pro Roofing and Seal Coating in Sterling Heights, and Advanced Roofing out of Sterling Heights. Google these company names and you will read story after story of the scams they pull. They even scammed a church out of $18K and the church had to close its doors due to all the property damage. Others have tried to sure, but he uses many aliases and fake addresses. Very sad that there are people like this! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!
