Blue Ladder Contractors, Inc.

We signed a contract with Blue Ladder Contractors Inc, 149-46 Lefferts Blvd, S. Ozone Park, NY 11420 Tel: 646-717-7267 on September 27, 2021, for $11,000 to do some work in our house for stripping and remodeling a small bathroom ($6,100), replacing a bay window ($2,200) and some other miscellaneous work ($2,700). They verbally said that they would finish the work in a week. They started the work on the same day (9-27-21). We paid $4,000 on September 27, 2021, and another $4,000 on October 2, 2021. The balance was supposed to be paid on the completion of the work. Later they said the window was not available. The bathroom is a complete disaster. It is done so poorly that it needs to be redone as per other contractors. 1. The shower floor tiles are not leveled correctly and the water does not drain. 2. No hot water in the shower. 3. Shower wall tiles are done using sanded grout instead of unsanded grout and the space between the tiles is so large that it looks like driveway pavers. The grouting is missing in several areas all across the bathroom. 4. The shower door is not installed properly. The shower door is sitting on broken pieces of cement and cardboard pieces. It has visible holes at the bottom of the shower door and water will go out from the bottom and sides of the shower door. 5. Pipe under the vanity is leaking. 6. The exhaust is not connected. 7. Tissue holder is not installed. 8. The trash is still sitting in my backyard after four months despite asking them to remove it several times. I called him multiple times and begged him to fix the bathroom before Thanksgiving as my daughter and her family were coming for Thanksgiving and I have only one other bathroom. They dont even respond to calls or texts anymore. Now after four months I am stuck with a bathroom that is not usable.

Blue Ladder Contractors met every expectation I had for my home! I wanted to remodel my driveway from the old, worn down concrete I had previously installed and Manroop and his team did beautiful paving work and made my house look brand new. Do not hire. The job scope changed several times. The guys left their tools in my garage for several days. They did not take away the fence that they took down. Leaving me to discard it myself. Just wont hire they guys again.
