We hired this company quite a while ago for a paving project. The finished product came out great, and we were very happy with that portion of the work.
During the job, however, our garage door and the surrounding metal casing were damaged. To his credit, he offered to file an insurance claim. We agreed instead on a simpler solution?he offered to come back and seal the driveway at no cost.
Since then, I?ve followed up multiple times over an extended period to try to schedule the sealing, but unfortunately haven?t been able to get a response.
I?m sharing this not to be negative, but in hopes of reconnecting and getting this resolved. The work itself was strong, and based on that experience, I?d still like to see this situation brought to a fair close.

This was a driveway paving job. It was supposed to be done in the fall. Did not hear from Matt until April, when he said we would be first on his list for the spring. Had to follow up multiple times and project kept getting delayed. Finally scheduled a date, then got an email that morning that someone on the crew called out and he'd come the next day. Job got done in July in one day. The paving we are happy with, but the crew made a bit of a mess of the road (oil drips, etc) and left a ton of sand/base material/asphalt chunks around the edge of the driveway that we had to clean up. Like 5+ five gallon buckets worth of sand all around the edge of the driveway. Not thrilled that we have to clean this up and fix the lawn. Price was good, but you get what you pay for.

"When I priced the job it was towards end of Scheduling season we was booked up and cold weather was sitting in fast and do not do work when. Frost is in ground. So did not get job done. I reach out to her to see if she still wanted job done. Scheduled a day and two employees called out and told her I could not do a quality job short handed reschedule for the next day and did the job we removed whole old driveway and concrete sidewalk and every paving job there a stain we all use Diesel fuel on equipment so asphalt do not stick and my guys used a blower to clean up street after we got done. Sorry we did not get vacuum out and clean up every cr..."

To set the stage, I had hired a company last year to do paving and repair. To be charitable, it became a total mess and was not completed. By contrast Mr. Searles and his company did an excellent job. He showed up exactly when he said he would. His estimate was fair and he pointed out the specifics of what needed to be done and why. He provided alternative solutions and the work was done in a timely fashion. It looks great and we’re very pleased. In fact, two of our neighbors are interested in hiring him as a result of the quality of the work.

"First off the driveway was completed and finished and the customer was satisfied and paid me. When I was loading my equipment I noticed the hot top was not perfectly straight to the road. Myself being a perfectionist I brought it to the homeowner attention and said I would come back and saw cut and straighten it. Have I have been straight out with all my work and have not had time to make it there yet and furthermore if I had not said anything she would have never noticed. My 1-800 is clearly visible and I am on multiple websites so getting in touch seems like just an excuse to make a complaint."

We hired Matt for a relatively large driveway replacement. He was very knowledgeable, detail orientated, and friendly. He completed our project quickly and kept us informed all the way. He was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a project completed.
