It was actually a kitchen and bathroom remodel. Design was good but the quality control was very poor requiring multiple rework. Ended up having to call in properly qualified contractors for which Marcos did reimburse me for. The final straw was $940 I paid to replace a fan that he said was replaced in 2023, which it wasn't. He sent me the reimbursement which bounced and now radio silence.

MJT is the most incredible company I have ever worked with. The employees are polite, hard working and very skilled. The owner and President, Marcos, is involved and oversees every aspect of the job. I reached out to 4 different contractors to get quotes for a siding and roofing project on my residential home. MJT Home Improvement was one of the 4 that quoted the project and provided me with the best value quote. Marcos provided good insight into some of the options I had to consider before finalizing the specifics of the job. Project was started on time and completed within the original estimated timeframe given. The install teams were courteous, efficient, and left the site clean each day. Marcos visited the site daily to monitor progress. Workmanship was top quality. I'm extremely pleased with the final results and glad I went with MJT. I would definitely hire them for additional work of this type.

I interviewed and received estimates from approximately 10 different roofing companies for my home in Waltham due to a leak and deteriorating roof. Several mentioned the problem of the leak was due to the low slope of one area of my roof. But due to my concerns about price, only MJT recommended that area be replaced with a rubber roof (replacing the rest with shingles. Their price was not only competitive with the all shingle roofs but was one of the lowest. I had to wait several weeks for the work to start but the crew was quick, professional and done in 2 days.

Marcos and his team completed the main roof of my house and four other smaller roofing portions in ONE long day. A hard working team does not describe what they do. I had structural issues with my house that was impacting the roof (a 1" gap between the roof and structure on an addition) that he addressed where a previous roofer and siding team did nothing. Amazing job and I am truly impressed.

I am not surprised to see so many positive reviews of MJT Home Improvement, Marcos and his crew are amazing. We had a huge project to be done for a multi-unit condo building and unfortunately had a horrible experience with another contractor. We had to fire that contractor and needed someone to not only come finish the work but redo parts of the work done previously. Marcos responded right away and gave a very reasonable estimate for the work. The work involved completely residing and redoing parts of the building, putting on a new roof, new decking, painting, and several other things. Marcos and his crew also did interior work on several units, including mine, and the quality of the interior work was just as excellent as the exterior work. Marcos is responsive, extremely fair on pricing, and we really trust his expertise and experience. I am so happy to finally have a contractor I can trust with work, and in the future when I need work done, I will not even bother trying to find other quotes, I will just go to Marcos for everything. I highly recommend him.

5 stars to an amazing contractor and his crew! Working with MJT Home Improvement exceeded our expectations. Not only did Marcos give us the best price but the quality of the work was outstanding. MJT Home Improvement sided our home in 2 !/2 long hour days, in 90 degree heat. They were hard working and professional and made our home look brand new.

I hired them in spring 2019, which was a full disappointment. 1) They advertised on high quality material to win the bid, but then secretly switched to lower cost to **steal** customers money (for example, use GAF flexbuster instead of deckarmor). 2) They are ignorant about any clean-up after the work. No cleanup of gutter, leaving a clogging gutter (damage of my roofing gutter due to water accumulating after that), all junks directly into the attic, nails around house, etc. 3) No customer service after. When I called for gutter issue, the person just ran away. Never got a call and message back.

I had ~9 quotes for roof work and ultimately went with Marcos and MJT Home Improvement. His competitiveness on price, excellent labor warranty on top of the more limited shingle warranty, and his experience ultimately drove my decision. His team worked from 7 to about 5-6PM (during the late winter) and had the roof done in about a day and a half. We were all very impressed! There was ultimately an unknown cost during the roofing project as my roof/home is extremely old (1800s), and so a good chunk of the roof deck wood had to be changed, but even this didn't significantly add to the cost of the home. So far so good with the roof work. Would definitely work with Marcos and MJT Home Improvement again.

MJT Home Improvement is the real deal. I have an older home and Marcos communicated every option clearly with no hidden cost. The roof looks great and clean up was outstanding. No hassle, long sales pitch, just great craftsmanship. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

Marcos and his crew were everything and more during our roof replacement project. They did an excellent job with the installation and clean up was perfect. Very thorough and matched the existing perfectly. Would highly recommend and definitely keeping his info at the top of my list for any future projects.

Five days ago I accessed Home Advisor and looked for roofers in the area, house required new shingles in the middle of winter. Marcos / MJT Home Improvement immediately reached out to me regarding the job. His quote was extremely reasonable and he was beyond prompt in setting all aspects of the work up. His installation team arrived at my house this morning, stripped the old roofing, and reinstalled new shingles, all work was completed prior to the end of day. I was impressed with many items on this job: attention to detail, quality of work, speed of operation. I would use Marcos's team again in a second, as an additional bonus my shed was reshingled as well!

Marcos and his crew were excellent from start to finish on our roof replacement. Professional and hardworking, they got the job done in just a couple of days. Every day, they cleaned up around the site before they left. We never felt “under siege” by the construction project. They charged less than the other companies we contacted, but I never felt like we were getting a cut-rate service. They went above and beyond, and I would happily use them again on other projects, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to others.

My first good impression was the immediate response from Marcos through Home Advisor. He was at my house the very next day to give an estimate and samples. By far, he is the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. My roof was replaced by very fast, hard workers who left the whole place cleaner than before they even started working! I cannot recommend MJT highly enough and I will definitely be calling them for future home improvement projects. My roof was 28 years old and in dire need to be replaced before the starts of another New England’s winter. With the assistance of a co-worker, who suggested the use of Home Advisor, I was able to find a reputable roofer with outstanding reviews. I was able to speak with Marcos (the owner of MJT Home Improvements) shortly after the submission of my request via Home Advisor. Within a couple of days, a written proposal/bid was given and agreed upon based on the information provided – material to be used, warranty, project duration, and price. In conjunction of needing a new roof, another item had to be addressed to prevent future issues. The vents for the bathrooms were not properly vented; thus causing improper air circulation. With assurance and quickness, MJT Home Improvements agreed to fix this matter. In closing, I am delighted to know that this coming winter will be warmer inside and MJT Home Improvements has another satisfied client.

I've had work done on my roof before, but I have to say MJT was a much better experience. Marco was great. His team got the job done really fast (a previous company took months for a similar-type job). Everything was done on time, as scheduled, and the work was high quality. He even did some indoor work on a weekend to accommodate our schedule. Another thing: he was always quick to reply whenever I had to text him. Really a pleasure to work with. I recommend him wholeheartedly, I will go with him again in the future.
