I found M.T. Ruhl through my general contractor while renovating a bathroom last year. I was super impressed with the professionalism with every member of the organization. Fast forward to now. PECO recently installed natural gas on my street and my dream of a whole house generator came into view as a reality. I called Mark, and he gave me a great quote. Tim and Andrew seamlessly installed the generator while Bard facilitated the entire process. It was a joy! Thanks M.T Ruhl. Your quality work speaks for itself. Owner Mark answered phone to set up appointment for his electrician to come out. Mark gave price quote. Electrician did fix the photo sensor. Electrician needed to return on a different day to finish installing other two interior outlets. He demanded the full payment amount before fixing the other two interior outlets. When I refused to pay for a partial job, electrician removed photo sensor from the wall in a vandalized manner. Sensor plug circuit was open in a dangerous manner, with no lights. I called owner Mark to tell him what his guy did. Mark said I needed to pay in full now, and that he was not interested in working with me, and then hung up. Was completely unprofessional.

I had a completely rusted outdoor electric panel box that needed replacement as well as limited space in my 100 AMP indoor panel. Mark and his team replaced the outdoor panel box as well as swapped out my 100 AMP indoor panel for a 200 AMP indoor panel. I called Mark on a Wednesday and by Saturday he had provided an estimate and completed the work. The quality of the work is exceptional. I was having my house resided and the contractors commented on the quality and professionalism of the new outdoor panel and how well it was wired and waterproofed. I would highly recommend their services.

I needed an outdoor outlet installed. A representative from M.T. Ruhl promptly contacted me to set up an appointment to come out to the house to review the job. The electrician arrived to the appointment on time and provided a quote within a few minutes. The price was fair, the electrician was personable and professional, and the job was done well.

Did sconce lighting in my bedroom with light fixtures I already had. Messed up one of the walls (chipped it, required caulking) while installing and didn't offer to fix it. I didn't ask either, so maybe its my fault, but I kind of hoped the work would be finished when they left. Anyway, the rest of the job looked great and they were friendly and easy to work with. I think they do a good job and are fairly priced (I think that job cost me about $200, not sure what others would charge), just make sure they follow through if they mess something up!

The electrician was on time, very knowledgeable and courteous. The job was done quickly and properly. My only suggestion would be and this is a minor one. My HVAC contractors wear booties to go over their shoes when they come in and out of the house. I was always impressed with that. Perhaps your people, for residential jobs could do the same. M. T. Ruhl was extremely professional, curtious and knowlegeable. He showed up on time and finished the job in a relatively short period of time. The fan product appears to be working fine. Some additional troubleshooting was also performed on some electrical switches. He fixed the problem that has eluded other electricians. I would highly recommend Mr. Ruhl.
