Write a ReviewAfter 11 months of gross incompetence, lies and deception, numerous leaks damaging my attic space and home, failure to install our roof before the underlayment expired, allowing the permit to expire and doing nothing about it and many other despicable behaviors, we concluded that we had to terminate our contract. We will lose $10,500 on this $46,000 dollar contract but weâ re certain the lies and incompetence will continue and if they ever finish, the roof will be of such poor quality it will fail during the next storm. Do you know how bad a company has to be to lose their Better Business Bureau accreditation and get an â Fâ rating, to lose their license, to damage their reputation with suppliers so bad they are sued for lack of payment (link: https://unicourt.com/case/fl-picc-casedx2a05a7ea3023-766688), suppliers requiring prepayment before filling orders? Losing the money will hurt but once we learned what this company really is we knew it would be worse and more costly to allow them to finish their pathetic work. We contracted with Champions Roofing Corp. and they delivered the metal and began work two weeks after signing. Such a relief to be rid of MTS and working with competent professionals. Weâ re working with an attorney to explore getting our money back through litigation, but I suspect it will cost more to sue than what we could recover so MTS will probably get away with it. DO NOT hire this company, you will regret it. There are many reputable, professional roofers still out there.
Chose this company in February due to promise of â worst case scenario 8 weeks for tear off and dry in.â 4 months later there was still no progress or communication. We had multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach the company. Finally heard back and blame was placed on the salesman. But who was in charge of the salesman? The company had no problem cashing a deposit check for our aluminum roof and not following up on the project. Very poor management. Apparently no metal was even ordered? This has still not been made clear. New GM promised to make things right. We finally had a tear off and dry in in early June. They left a huge mess and we had to pick up about 100 nails and packaging wrappers. They left a stack of the old metal blocking the driveway, which is still currently there over 2 months later. There is still paper wrapped around some of our trees. They placed the dry in material over our hood vent so we can no longer use it. They still have not given us an update on whether the metal was ordered or not. Manager is now ignoring calls and messages. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. this has been a complete nightmare.
If you are looking to get a new metal roof, stay far away from this company! We signed in January, we were told it would be done by June. Here it is September 1st and we still do not have a completed roof. Its 75% done...so far they have run out of material twice, TWICE. All this company does is lie - lie - lie, never return phone calls, and tells you what they think you want to hear to make you leave their office. This has truly been a nightmare working with this company. We had a dumpster in our driveway for 2 months for when the workers would randomly show up to work for a day or so then leave. The yard was a total mess every time they did show up with soda cans, Pedialyte drinks, broken hammers, nails, scraps of metal (large and small) and food wrappers! My husband even cut his foot open on a scrap piece of metal that was left in the yard. During Idalina we had pieces slide off our roof and when I talked to Shawn he said that was perfectly normal I did not know it was perfectly normal for the roof to slide off when installed! There is zero communication from this company even though Donald is their communications coordinator - he wont even talk to me anymore. Curtis was a fantastic salesman, I wish the rest of the company was like him and not all liars! We just want a completed roof, not too much to ask.
My roof is beautiful- thank you MTS Construction!!
Very honest people and knowledgeable
They were very honest efficient and went above and beyond very happy with this company.
