Very clean work and always on time

Please be very careful with this married couple. I hired them to paint my cabinets and when they were at my home working, I asked them to do a couple of more things. One of those jobs was to install a garbage disposal. They told me to go buy the disposal and they will install it. I did just that. They installed the garbage disposal and they finished with the cabinets, got full payment and they left. A month later i went to use my dishwasher, and after the dish washer cycle was over, I noticed a pool of water on the bottom of the dish washer and good amount of water on my newly installed hardwood floors. The water caused the floors to cup and buckle in about 25% of the floor space in the kitchen. I waited some time to try and use the dish washer again, when i did the same thing happened with the pooling of water on the bottom. So at this point, I decided to buy a new dish washer from Best Buy. I had someone come and install the brand new dish washer. I used the new dishwasher for the first time and the same thing happened, a pool of water at the bottom of the dish washer. I soaked up all the water with a towel. I used the dish washer again the next day and the same thing happened. I decided to go ahead and call a plumber. When the plumber came over, he checked the garbage disposal and took off drain hose from the dish washer and found that the original installer failed to remove the knock-out plug from the side of the garbage disposal. I called MVP Pro LLC and spoke to the wife and told her what happened and she relayed the message in Spanish to her husband. The both decided that no mistake was made on their end and they are refusing to accept responsibility for the oversight. The husband does not speak English and Im assuming that he doesnt know how to read English as well. Im sure the directions of how to install the garbage disposal was written in English and he just didnt bother to get his wife to translate it into Spanish for him. Im sure if he would have simply read the instructions, he would have known to take that piece off before he attached the dish washers drainage tube to the disposal. That simple mistake damaged my wood floors and prompted me to purchase a dish washer that I didnt need. Do they right thing and take responsibility for a simple and common mistake. From an article online: Garbage Disposal Installation - A very common oversight when installing a garbage disposal is forgetting to remove the knock-out plug from the side of the unit. The purpose of the plug is to create a watertight seal in the event you dont have a dishwasher. UPDATE: They took responsibility for the damaged wood floors and paid for the repairs, however they did not take responsibility for the dishwasher. Please note, that I bought a new dishwasher thinking that my old dishwasher was damaged because they failed to remove a simple plug.
