BEWARE!!! MW Enterprise/MW Design Build owner Frank Winter is not a licensed contractor. His MHIC license was suspended in 2023 due to bad business practices. His Better Business Bureau (BBB.org) rating is an ?F.? I wish someone had told me this before signing with him. Abandoned our job, heâ d say he didnâ t, but after a year +, and telling us heâ s out of money to complete I donâ t know what else to say. Hired in April 2023 to build a complete new deck, addition along with roof structure, signed what we thought was a legit contract, itâ s not under MD law. Promised to have our job started in approximately 6 weeks and completed in another 6 weeks . September finally came and he started., or should I say his two employees started. Owner showed far and in between leaving his two employees to accomplish the work, mostly arriving at 10:30 and leaving by 2:30 every day they were here. December now arriving and no real sign of competition, but many excuses. Promises that material was ordered, never was. Apparently working other job while leaving ours to sit, even mention that his guys told him they needed to get back over here. A brand new addition left open to the weather all winter long. March now here, and after another conversation and now 95% paid in full , the owner said that he was completely out of money to complete our job, and even asked for a loan from us. In the long run, MW Enterprises made lots of promises he couldnâ t keep. 100% paid, in full now and we are $40,000 out of pocket that material was never purchased, and a lot of bad workmanship that needs to be fixed or replaced. He very good at taking your money, just not very good at completing your job. Look up MHIC number of any contractor your considering, wish we did. We now have estimates between $70,000 - $100,000 to fix.

I hired this company back in April 2018 to replace my deck with composite flooring and vinyl railings. There was an issue with the vinyl wrapping on the deck so I called for them to come back and make this small repair. I made numerous calls and sent emails and left messages. I was given false promises but as of this date September 19 the repairs have never been made.

Their VP was on site at least every other day. Quality of work was outstanding. We plan to hire this company for future planned projects.

MW added steps to our deck. We were impressed with the quality and value they provided. We were really happy with the finished product. We would definitely use their services again or recommend them to a neighbor or friend.

These guys are professional, personable, patient and helpful. They replaced our roof and siding. We could not ask for a better job. Why I did not give them a perfect five was not due to the work (craftsmanship). Cigarette butts and a few nails+screws were left on the property. Hire MW Enterprises. You will not regret it.

Patience with all the personal family issues I was having at the time before coming for final payment. Workers were great and did a fantastic job in cleaning up.

Very professional, easy to work with and installers did an excellent job. They removed the old roof and installed the new roof. All of the mess was completely cleaned up. I walked around the house after the roof was completed and couldn't find anything, not even a nail. Getting lots of compliments from my neighbors and will certainly recommend MW Enterprises,LLC

Hello All, MW Enterprises, LLC did an excellent job building a new deck for my house. The quality of the workmanship is amazing (picture framed deck). Most importantly they kept an open line of communication. They called an asked every time they had a question. The effort they put in to make sure the job was done the way I wanted was outstanding. I would hire them again with out question. The crew members were courteous and polite. The job was done a very timely manner given weather conditions. They left the site clean. The price was great given the attention to detail and quality of the workmanship. I would recommend them 10 times over.

They did an excellent job on our deck and we are very pleased with the final product. I would certainly hire them again. My only complaint is that communication about when they would be out to start work was not as good as it could have been. They started work a couple of weeks later than they originally estimated, with the start date slipping several times. This in itself was not a problem, but I had to initiate the communication to find out when they would be starting. A couple of calls or emails on their part informing me about what their schedule was would have been appreciated.

This project was top quality start to finish. Frank explained exactly how he would build the deck and came in at the best price. Everyone on the team was courteous and hardworking. The deck is extremely well constructed and beautiful, and I have already hired MW Enterprises for my next project, a paved patio.
