"That is what workers are for, the owner does not have to be on the job site. The contract never stated the owner was obligated to be there at all times. Our services are available to the general public, the owner tends to many customers. You stated the bedroom turned out nice, which is absolutely true. We are sorry we could not meet the demands of this customer, but the job was completed as requested by the customer. Our goal is to provide excellent service, not making sure we squeeze money out of people. Thank you."
"Our business is in demand by other customers. When we finished the job, you contacted us the next day, the team can't come back the next day they are already attending to another customer/job. We gave instruction on how to correct the issues, but you insisted that these issues required our attention. We agreed to come out and correct them, AND we said please give us time. We tried to call and no answer. Messages left and no returned calls. There is nothing we can do if you never give us the chance to correct it. You did mention overall the job was done great, a 2 out of 5 is a pretty harsh criticism for the effort the team put in for you."
"Sheryl we do respect your opinion, but as you did note in your comment, bad communication was on your end. We did arrive late, however we called a week in advance to let you know this. Never ever do we leave a mess on the job, obviously it's not good business. We did mark up the paint, but we don't profit on it at all. Your numbers are incorrect. The markup is 20% and it covers our fuel and delivery. We went over this with you a month ago before the job started. When you remove wallpaper, damages may be hidden underneath, and we spent an additional 2 days repairing the walls. We waved the charge because you are a senior citizen."
