Mac was great. He called quickly after my posting. He came to my home, provided an immediate at a fair price. The work was scheduled for two days after our initial meeting. On the first work day, he adjusted his start time to allow me to be present to let hom inot my house and still get to work on time. The job was completed within the two day schedule. The wotk was well done. Mac's workmates were fast, efficient and courteous. The project came in on budget. There was obe punchlist item, which was cleared immediately and effectively. I look forward to using Mac again and highly recommend him.

Mac is fantastic. Responded to my call right away and came over to give me an estimate. Repaired a crawl space under my mudroom, using cement to patch fieldstone. Responsible, reasonable with great results. Highly recommend.

We hired Mac's Handyman Service to repoint our front steps. Mac sub'd the job out, never took interest in the time management, or work quality being performed by his contractor. We were promised it would take a day to complete... Two weeks later the job is finally done after several calls from me and repeated no shows and broken promises by Mike his sub. Very disappointed with this entire experience! Not only did we get Mac from Home Advisor he did work for family prior with good results and that is the main reason we hired Mac's Handyman Service.

After having a really positive experience hiring someone through HomeAdvisor, I was really disappointed with this group. I had what I thought were 3 straightforward requests - hang a mirror over my mantle, hang two small shelves, and hang a set of two blinds. The guy that was sent over to help me was late, then forgot the tools he needed so left shortly after he arrived. When he came back, he proceeded to hang the mirror over the mantle off-center. He didn't notice until I pointed it out to him but said any other way to do it because he needed to use the studs; it would have been helpful to know that ahead of time and I had anticipated a professional being able to work around that (otherwise I would have done it myself). He then drilled holes in my bathroom wall to hang two shelves but the holes were too big so he used wood chips that he had to fill in the extra space - it looked like garbage, I have no experience and could have done better myself. And the shelves were also not level or sturdy enough to hold something. He told me it could either be level but not very sturdy or leave it crooked but it would be sturdy. The wall was also filthy and there was dust in my bathroom - no effort to clean up after himself. I will say that the blinds seem fine, no real need for aesthetics but I'm hoping that the integrity of the work is good. Overall, these 3 tasks took over 3 hours (not including the time when he left to go find the tools he needed), which seemed a little excessive for a professional. In the end, Mac (owner) came back and addressed the problems a week later. It looks fine now but certainly not the quality I was expecting for the price that I paid. And needing to arrange my schedule to accommodate a second visit was definitely not convenient. I would find someone else for your projects.

Returned my call right away. I set up a time for the job and he was delayed @ another job, which through no fault of the handyman, delayed getting to me by 2 hours. I will be doing a few odd jobs this fall and I will hire this handyman service @ that time. Well done! Jim H.

I hired these folks to install a set of vinyl shutters on the front of my house, which had to be drilled in through brick and mortar. The job was done promptly and very professionally. I would definitely hire them back again for any future needs and recommend them highly.

So sorry I ever got involved with John McIntyer! He was never present during the entire job. The first few days the guys doing the work kept changing. The job: paint all but one room in a 1300sf condo, repair large crack in wall, install a new electical outlet, install a new cable outlet, regrout bathroom floor, repair water damage in one ceiling. First he insisted on having the guys work do all the trim and ceilings at once. If the guys working didn't have collectively the worst ADD I've ever seen. There was no attention to detail so , they didn't know what they had already completed .
