They got my walk in Shower done in the time that they had said. They are very good to work with and cleaned everything up. We had a minor problem with the shelves and they came within reasonable time range to fix the shelves. I’m very pleased with them and the company, I would recommend them.

Mad City had to come out 5 times. They didn't get the right base size for a new shower. We had to without a shower for almost 3 months. When they finally completed the job, it was great. It simply took them too long to get it done right.

Predatory Sales and Subpar Quality
Mad City's process is predatory from start to finish. Three hours of high-pressure sales tactics in my own home, even after I repeatedly stated I needed to discuss it with my husband.
After the installation the field manager acknowledging the wave and gaps in the wall, he told me that while it didn't meet my expectations, it met their "standard of error." Let that sink in: Mad City Bath?s official policy is that crooked and wavy is good enough. If you value your money, or want a shower that is actually square and plumb, stay far away from this company. They perform subpar work, hide behind automated phone lines when things go wrong, and will abandon you the moment they have your money. Hire a reputable contractor instead.

Shower Installation and Replacement
Mad City was able to replace an old fiberglass shower in our basement bathroom with a custom shower enclosure. This was a tricky job because the shower sits under the stairs, but they were able to create something that fits perfectly, and gives us a more comfortable space to shower. The lead time is a little longer since they fabricate per order, but the installation was completed in a couple of days (that includes city inspections). Their crew was also very respectful of our home. Overall it was a great experience.

After two recent tub to shower installations, one more disastrous than the other, performed by one of the nationwide, huge home improvement companies, I perused Angi, subsequently contacting 2 of their recommended entities. With an admittedly healthy dose of skepticism, I contracted with Mad City to correct the mistakes of the preceding company, and satisfy our needs. Mad City demonstrates those rarest qualities of all among home improvement companies. They actually provide high quality materials, professional service, and attention to detail, maintaining a customer-centric focus.
