Do your research. They state you as a customer are important, take your money, do a substandard job and then ignore you. The warranty is a joke.

Gotta say this has been a nightmare project which is still ongoing, I did my due diligence and hired Concrete Driveway Co. after meeting with other companies in the area and was impressed by their professionalism up front but sadly they couldn't back up what they sold. Original job was supposed to be 3 days long but the subcontractor crew that showed up with no plans rushed it in got it done in a day, which then had to be torn out and fully redone. So much of this could have been avoided if there was a foreman with the plans onsite to make sure that everything was being done to the plans that were agreed to as well as the quality they sold. I have lost weeks worth of work dealing with this as well as having to deal with having the entire project redone. The second time around i would have thought for sure they would have sent someone one but again they just sent the same suncontractors to remedy the job and in the demolition process they damaged the fence, stone walkway, irrigation lines, electrical lines along with the mess that requires a repaint of the fence and a full power washing from all the debris left in the driveway and road. I will say they did take some responsibility to try and credit us back for the inconvenience of all of it, but sadly It has been less than a month since the second job has been completed and the fence has since warped, the entire slab has cracked down the middle as well as in additional areas and i couldn't be more disappointed in the whole process... I saved up for a very long time to have this project done only to have to deal with so much than i ever could have imagined . TL;DR - complete lack of customer service and communication once they have your money. If you have an issue with their work, prepare to be ghosted. Not a unique experience it seems either, wish I had found this ABC report before hiring We were initially excited to use Concrete Driveway Co (seems to be re-branding) to re-build our backyard patio. The price was competitive and Glenn, our sales rep, was respectful of our time, budget, and was great to work with. The build process however had a couple hiccups and delays, but those were minor and we were still able to have the job complete in about 3-4 days (originally quoted 2, again minor overall). It took over a week, and many calls to Nick the project manager, after the job was done for them to remove the dumpster they dropped in my driveway however. A day or so after the pour was complete we noticed some pretty bad pooling from light rain in the center of the patio, though the other sections drain quickly and without issue. The pooling becomes significant with heavy rain. I called Glenn who directed me back to Nick, who kept trying to point me back to Glenn, but Nick ultimately, after ~2 weeks and _many_ unreturned calls, accepted he had to handle this. He said he was submitting me to their claims department and I should get an email from them to move forward. It has now been just shy of 3 weeks since that submission and I havent heard from their claims department at all, email or otherwise. Nick is again not answering or returning my calls.

Bad customer service. They do not know how to plan or estimate. They could not do my job after taking my deposit. Now they wonâ t return it. Stay away

Had a very good experience with Madewell Concrete; they weren't my lowest bid but I believe they were the best value. Excellent communication, very professional crew. We are quite happy with the new driveway.

I hired Madewell to build a walkway for my home. I signed a contract and paid a 50% deposit upfront. The day before the work was to be done, the sales rep text me to say the work would be $1700 more than the contract price due to labor costs. I told him that was unacceptable and I wanted my deposit back. I spoke with the district manager and he said he will put in for my refund. That was a month ago and I still have not received my refund. Not only that, Madewell has stopped returning my calls. I have left at least 5 messages with no response. I have contacted the BBB and currently weighing my legal options. Beware of this company.

Work was completed in a day. Manager on site during the excavation, concrete pour and stamping. The final project came out great and contractors cleaned up appropriately. I would recommend them.

The person who initially came said they will route all the water spouts drain under the new slab. But they did not do anything like that. Bummer !!! Apart from that the work in general was good.

Company Reps were on top of things. They were onsite during the whole job and took care of all issues right away.

Iâ m big on communication and updates. One of the most impressive things about the associates who were spearheading my project was their ability to keep me updated on my upcoming project. Thatâ s exactly what customer want to have besides a successful project. Thanks for that.

Disappointed at the lack of responsiveness from this company on warranty and other follow_up matters. They are very responsive when getting your money, but if you have a problem with the work or a repair issue there is radio silence. They want your $money but will not follow up on any concerns. I filed. Warranty claim and sent countless emails and failed to get an adequate response let alone a repair. Take your business elsewhere if you want a real warranty!!! Disappointed in Rocky Mount!

We had our driveway and walkway replaced and the entire experience went very smoothly. The project was completed in one day as promised and the crew did an outstanding job. The site manager kept me informed throughout every phase of the job.

They did the job when they said they would, They kept me inform about any changes during the work.

There are several significant problems with the work that they did at my property. Within six months sections of the court are shifting and not level. This will only keep getting worse. Also the finish of the concrete was not what was requested (it is much too rough but it was easier for the workers not to do things the right way). I contacted them and they did send someone out but weeks have gone by and I have not heard anything from them one way or another. I sent additional pictures showing the shifting of the slabs but still ZERO response. If you are a homeowner find somebody else to do work at your place as you won't be important to them.

Omly challenge was getting workers out post install to do final power wash & seal. It happened close to 14 days after as opposed to 7

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! We recently hired Madewell to pour a stamped patio and walkway that is approximately 750sq ft. The finished product is AWFUL! There are foot prints, overlapping stamp prints, cracks. the forms were done poorly resulting in rough curves and edges. There are areas that were never stamped. Aggregrate is showing thorugh the surface. To top it all off, they didnt follow the plans so the final dimensions are off. We have tried for weeks to get this resolved but Madewell has been impossible to work with. They either wont answer the phone and they will not return phone calls.

The work was done as promised and to my satisfaction. Customer service was great. They kept me up to date and made sure all my questions were answered fully and to my satisfaction. The work force was respectful of our property and that of our neighbors. A very good job!
