Concrete Driveway Co.

Hired them to do my driveway. Came when they said they would and it looked great. Said we had a ten year warranty. We have some cracks already after 6 months so I put in a claim but no one ever got back to me. Called several times and called several different people. No response. Sent email, called main office. Still no response. I wish I could give them a zero rating for customer service. I would not recommend them.

They said they would complete my driveway project in one day. On Thursday they leveled the old gravel and began installing the forms, left for lunch, and never came back. It rained on Friday, leaving us with a muddy mess for the weekend. On Monday they finished the forms but put them on the TOP of the old driveway so that when they poured the new concrete it was at least 4 inches higher than the surrounding terrain. We were supposed to have a dedicated project manager for the project but he was also supervising another job somewhere and was only on-site about half the time. I ended up being the site supervisor myself, but none of the crew spoke English so I had a hard time being understood. They used our decorative landscaping stone to get traction for the truck to get concrete into the driveway (that stone is now permanently under the driveway somewhere), and they used part of our wooden fence to complete their concrete form. The new pour was so high that part of it covered the lower part of our vinyl siding, and they left trash laying around the yard. They finally came back on the 8th day with gravel to try and lessen some of the difference between the height of the driveway and the surrounding area. I would have the whole thing torn out and redone if I could, but concrete hardens so it appears I am stuck with it.

Their crews did a super work, professional, efficient and responsive and high quality! The project manager, Justin is very responsive and he kept the project updated. They complete the work within time frame. Thank you!

Madewell concrete totally ruined my driveway project. 1st they would not wait for 811 to come mark for the gas etc lines. Then when they started the demo they broke a gas line which cost me $550 charged by the gas company. Then they told me they would do the prep and the concrete laying in 2 days but when it came time to do it, they crammed it into 1 day. They worked their workers from 7 am until 10:30 at night. They stamped my concrete in the dark with no light. Guess how that turned out. During the concrete pouring, it started raining and they just continued to work. When it started raining harder they put a tarp on the concrete and did not remove it even after the rain stopped. It was very unprofessional. The stamped part was so awful that they came back a few weeks later and redid the stamped part. The other 75% of the driveway has tarp marks, shoe prints, rain dimples, discolored, not edged correctly at all, and cracking in spots. I left several messages on the project managers phone and the owner Pete. They will not answer or call me back. This company does not care how your project turns out. They even tried to collect the balance $ for the job that night at 10:30 so I would not have a chance to see the finished project. Even their workers said they try to take the cheapest route on every job. When they 1st come with the job proposal they make you think they are gonna take all the steps to ensure a quality project but once you pay them, they are only concerned is to get done and get to the next as cheaply as possible. I would never recommend this company to anyone
