Not sure who these other reviews are talkiing about (madewell???) But Concrete Driveway Co of Greenville was awesome. Pricing was good, were on time, stayed till done, cleaned up and the patio is beautiful. Very happy with the result.

Do not hire this company they are liars they are doing this all around. Everywhere they are doing business they are ripping people off. They get your 50% down payment get a bunch of incompetent subcontractors to come in a do the work even tho Chris Levins will lie and tell you they have their own crew they have been using for years. They create a mess at your home. And when you tell them it's wrong they just say we are done and put a lien on your home. They don't pay their subs either. But there is a lot of things to do. You contest the lien it is cheap then they have 60 days to take you to court . Whatever state your in call your Attorney General they love to hear about bad construction practices! Also contact your department of business and professional regulations and file a complaint with them. Don't stop because these people are doing what is called a money get your down-payment and if it turns out good well if it turns out badly which seems to be all the time it's like oh well. The original company Madewell Concrete appears to have gone under, and re-branded as Concrete Driveway Co. of Greenville. This is unfortunate, as my ten year warranty was with Madewell Concrete, and now (22 months later) when I would be putting in a warranty request as the concrete pour has cracked and crumbled apart at the driveway skirt edges, the company does not exist. A quick search of Madewell Concrete shows many unhappy customers and sub-contractors. It appears the same is happening with the new brand as well. One year review: Concrete driveway extension and patio extension still look good with no signs of damage, cracking, or significant movement. Still finding bits of concrete in the yard from when they transported between the truck and the pour area. Pros: -Fast Turn Around from quote to pour -Professional appearing quote -Work completed quickly Cons: -Deviation between quoted method of work and actual method of work*. -Crew cleaned out bobcat loader bucket that was used to move wet concrete to back yard IN the back yard, leaving plenty of mess to be cleaned up by me later. Still finding residual in yard after a full year. -Company is unreachable for support after job was completed. *Quote was to use a Georgia Buggy to move concrete, but instead a tracked loader (bobcat-style) tractor was used, which did significant and lasting damage to our new sod. (Which I actually just replaced after having the lawn re-leveled: $7100) While I understand some minor landscape damage was likely during the install, I was not prepared for the degree of damage resulting from the use of the 14,000 pound tracked loader instead of the agreed-upon 1,300 pound GA buggy. Advice: Avoid.

This team was very professional and completed the job just as they promised! My driveway looks great and is guaranteed!

They are not honest. They did not do what they said they would do. They did not deliver what they promised.

MadeWell is a first class operation. From the detail in the quote, scheduling and install everyone on the team was top notch. Would highly recommend MadeWell Concrete.

The project manager was very knowledgeable and the job was completed as promised. The workers helped move some items out of the way, were courteous and cleaned up the site after they were done. I was very impressed and would use them again in the future.

Made well made the experience of getting a new driveway and sidewalk very easy. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I appreciated that the company took care of getting the permit for me and the only thing I really needed to do was find my survey (although they even found it for me too!). As soon as the permit came through, they reached out to schedule the work and had it almost all done in one day. As the work was being done and after, I was amused to watch most of my neighbors stop to admire the driveway and take note of the company name from the signage. I think the whole neighborhood think it turned out great!

Madewell was the right choice for us when selecting a contractor for our driveway. David was very thorough during the estimate and proposal and took his time to understand the conditions and my concerns. Gideon was our project manager and was very professional during the whole process. He was onsite for the duration of the project and even came by late in the evening to make sure nothing was amiss after the crew finished up.

I rated them after they finishedd the driveway and it was not good. My rating went up from like 2 to 4.5 as they came back and Parker made it happen! I am pleased that we now have the finished product. Kuddos to the team in making it right!

We are very happy with the quality of the work done. They showed up bright and early at 7:30am on the day they said they would. They graded and prepped the area and had concrete poured by 10:00am. Very professional and you can tell they take pride in their work. I like their work so much, we are already looking at getting more done. Definitely a company I would recommend.

The company is customer and delivery oriented. The project was not easy or straight forward and the project manager worked with us to ensure quality. Would recommend them.

Why the low score... a few points. First the good, sales guy at least he tried... I sure hope the driveway will last. Now to the bad: 1. the yard was a mess when they left (plants damaged, concrete washed in flower beds. nails and screws and even trash left behind 2. came and cut the expansion joints the same day they poured. Now I have scuff marks which I am sure will eventually go away but why not wait until 24 hrs? 3. the street was red clay which took me almost 2 hrs to wash off. 4. worst thing of all, they messed up and did not pour all the way to the street as every other driveway is and just put down some cheap asphalt chips. WOW! they claim not able to pour all the way and are not taking responsibility for it further. This speaks to some serious issues so beware... in the end, it was the way they did not take responsibility and do anything to solve what is their mistake.

Overall, a very professional company to work with.

The concrete looks good, however, my yard was totally destroyed. The concrete truck left big holes and ruts in the yard. The place I had them put the dirt was placed in the right spot, however, the leftover gravel was placed on top of the dirt pushing my fence outward. They dug a hole and buried the leftover concrete and covered it up with dirt. They did not backfill the dirt back around the outside edge. They really left my yard in a mess. I am very disappointed in the overall job. I will not recommend this company to anyone. Now I have to go back and fill in and smooth out all the bad places in the yard. Will never be able to get all the gravel out of the grass.

They ripped me off and wax very rude. Unprofessional, will not recommend them.

Good company to work with!!

We hired them for approximately $25K driveway. 18 Months later we are tearing up part of the driveway due to cracking. We asked them to come and fix it and they told me the cracking was typical. The staff was nice but having to replace a large part of our driveway after 18 months is ridiculous.

Showed up for the quote in a day. Signed the contract and they scheduled and were on the job in a week. Start to finish in under 8 hours and this was no small driveway. Amazing. Worth every single cent! Great Company!
