I wanted new shades for three windows. I sent a message on Made in the Shade on their website on Sunday evening. He promptly got back to me and we made an appointment for Monday morning. Ernie came, showed me samples and took measurements. Two weeks later, shades were in and Jay came the following day to install them. Jay even helped me take down a row of prisms in my window so he could access the sill. Very efficient, pleasant experience! Shades look great! Thank you Ernie and Jay.

I could not get a contract that I signed and he is telling me that he does not have this contract anymore and he says that he lost it.

"Linda I'm sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately window treatments are custom to each window and can't be resold. The invoice I sent you clearly states no refunds of deposits because of the customization of the product. If you had called me 24-48 hrs after placing your order I would have called the plant and been able to cancel your order most likely. But you called a week later to cancel your order, I still wanted to help you and called the plant to see if they started production and if it was possible to cancel. I am delighted with the shades and installation provided by Made in the Shade. Ernie could not have made the entire experience any easier. He came to my home on a Saturday, he measured the windows I wanted to cover, I selected the shades, and two weeks later he was back with the installer. I knew what I wanted before he came so the selection process was quick, but he has an extensive selection of styles, colors, and price points to choose from. I strongly recommend this company.

I donâ t normally write positive reviews. But, The guy I dealt with (Ernie) really made this easy for my wife, which made it even easier for me. Reviewed our options , educated us on the products, and was very responsive. My wife had originally wanted a more expensive shade but Ernie actually suggested some other options which were cheaper. Who does that ? Somebody I would work with again. Thanks for the help.

I was so overwhelmed by all the options. . Ernie at Made in The Shade was the first person to come to my home to take the time to walk us through what we need an economical cost. He showed us everything from low end to high end and everything in between. In the end we made the best choice for our home an budget. It was a good experience to not feel rushed or sold, but educated on what we purchased. I would highly recommend Made in the Shade.
