I hired Concrete Driveway October 2025 to replace my worn out asphalt driveway. I was told that their concrete formula was different and they had a 10 year warranty. I have now seen to areas with fractures (hairline). I submitted a claim and was pleased with the initial process. I have called the company for nearly two weeks with no further contact. I did not read the warranty first, my mistake. Hairline fractures are not covered. Their sales representative did not mention that. He should have been upfront regarding this. I have experience with my Grandfather laying cement with no fractures. This was some years ago and maybe the quality of cement may have changed. Given the cost $16k, I may have used a different company for up to $4k less. Always check the reviews first, usually I do, my error. It will never happen again.

Do not hire this company, hired this concrete company to pour a driveway, sloping down towards the road so water would run down instead of back towards my house. The company did the opposite. I filed a warranty claim with the company and have not got a response. Very unhappy and disappointed

The salesman was a a con artist he quoted me a price that was way to high when I said that was out of my price range he came down off the price that was in my budget. Then he change the measurements of the project down to half the size and told me I have to pay more money for the concrete. I told him that I was not going to pay any more money. The workers damage my fence and I told him and I have not heard from him yet. This was in August 2024. The workers were nice . They have them doing two jobs at same time and they be rushing to get the job done to move on to the other job in the same day. That's how they damage my fence by rushing.

Trust me you DO NOT want to do business with this company.. I have proof on how bad they did my driveway for all the money spent .. trash job so disappointed. Terrible finish, not level.. if you in my area come look for yourself.. Iâ ve ask them to come take a look at it nothingâ ¦ buyer beware!!!!!

I hired this company to do my driveway and in the contract and agreement they stated they followed ACI standards which was one of the factors that influenced my decision to go with them. They poured my driveway on May 21st and then on May 30th after days of me calling to ask them to cut my control joints and to find out when they would show up and two days after they promised their guy would come and do it he showed up. Driveway had already cracked in the nine days it took him to show go to finish the job. When I addressed it I was told it would look great after a couple months. Two months later it looks worse with a 6.5 foot crack in one panel they cut with 2 feed extending into the next from the delayed cutting which was 100% not ACI standards and was a breach of the contact. I now have scaling after only 7 weeks and pitting and crumbling. Concrete was left all over my siding and windows because they did not cover my house in plastic to protect it as they stated they did. For 7 weeks I have been asking to have it taken care of and was lied to stating the contractor showed up and the chemicals werenâ t strong enough but the only problem with this is my gate was locked, I have ring cameras and I was home all weekend waiting for him to show up. He never did. I have spoke to JR who has said hairline cracks arenâ t covered by warranty but the reality is a massive breach in contract which borders theft by deception is why that happened and not just because concrete always cracks. ACI has already confirmed waiting nine days to cut and then not cutting at least 1/4 of the depth of the concrete or at least an inch is not their standards and in some places theâ control jointsâ are only 1/4 of an inch. After nine days the concrete has already formed 100â s of Microscopic cracks that will eventually begin to show and will have no impact whatever on being controlled by the control joints since they formed in the 9 days of not being cut. I do NOT recommend this company. Go with anyone but this company. They will scam you for your money and leave you with crappy subpar work.

This company is garbage. I had them do work over my culvert and it looked great. 2 years later the concrete is pitting, they crushed my culvert pipe and because of crushed pipe my concrete is sinking and busting. I filled a warranty claim and they said it is not covered. They crushed the culvert pipe but it's not covered. Their warranty says that they cover the pitting of the concrete but again they said they do not cover it. Stay away from this company. They are overpriced and do shotty work. I'm getting a lawyer for a refund and having my work done correctly.

I had my driveway replaced by your company in August and it is a huge disappointment. I spoke with Matt Backscheider in September about my disappointment with the quality and he came out, took pictures and said someone from "Warranty" would be in touch with me in 3-4 days. I have heard nothing from warranty, and Matt no longer responds to my messages. Out of frustration, I submitted the below Google review and over a dozen pictures. â I DO NOT recommend this company. I just pissed away $16,000 on my driveway. It looks horrible and I get no response from their main office. Existing driveway was demo'd on Monday 8/7/2023, heavy rain that evening. The driveway was framed on Tuesday, rain most of the day, and heavy rain that evening. Wednesday, heavy rain in the morning, standing water in the in the framed driveway, yet they still pour the new concrete in-between downpours. It is now October 16th, and the driveway still has very large dark dark areas that are wicking moisture. They are drying away but looks horrible and I still cannot seal the driveway. Also, my new driveway turns orange and brown when it rains now. No utility locates were called, so of course, they tore the internet line for us and the neighbor out. When Spectrum came to fix, they called locates and I was alarmed to find out the gas line is running directly under where they were digging. The street apron was broken due to the tractor driving over it without any type of gravel ramp. Instead of making a clean cut when fixing, they just patched it up to the break and didn't bother leveling it with the adjacent concrete in the street. Iâ ve taken pictures for the city inspector. They left a huge mess in the street, and it took me two evenings to pressure wash the mess up. Iâ ve spoken with the representative who initially contacted me and gave me the quote and told me I should hear back in 3-4 days. I still havenâ t heard anything, nor will anyone else return my calls. I should have hired a company that does their own work and not subcontract the work out. Please look at the pictures. " I have now received the following response: "Hi, we take this very seriously, If we can assist you, please send us a message at: concretedriveway.com/claims" Contacted them. twice and no response.

I hired them to install a concrete patio at the back and a gravel pad on the side of my house. The concrete patio installation portion was satisfactory. The gravel pad was not. The contract called for scraping 4â of sod/dirt off before placement of the gravel. Instead, they placed the plastic sheeting on top of the grass, and placed the gravel on top of the plastic. Without removing the sod, the gravel is higher than the bordering grass, allowing the gravel to spread well beyond the original area of the pad, creating a mowing hazard among other things. I have called, texted, emailed, and filled out the warranty claim on their website portal, and filed a complaint with the BBB. The only responses Iâ ve received are â thatâ s not covered under our warranty program â , and from the salesman â sounds like a breach of contractâ ¦I will do everything I can to get the guys back out to fix it â . It has been three weeks with no follow-up. I just want what I paid for. I do not recommend this company.

They removed and replaced my concrete driveway in late May 2023. Within a month cavities and pitting began appearing at numerous places throughout the driveway. Within the past couple of months, chunks of concrete are cracking away from the cut lines. I have repeatedly called, texted, emailed and completed their online claim form but no response. They have zero customer service (but had to give them 1/2 star to submit review). Do not waste your time and money. Find another company.

Madewell did an awesome job and honestly just made it too easy. Definitely using them from here on out.

I had serval bids on the job and Madewell was the only one that made an effort to earn my business. They also offered what no one else could: quick installation. All the other companies said that they could get the job done sometime between next March to maybe May or later but Madewell got the job done in just a few weeks. The work was awesome and quick. The Project Manager did an excellent job communicating and keeping me informed throughout the day. I could not be more pleased and I have recommended Madewell to my neighbors who came to marvel at the beautiful work!

I had a wonderful experience working with Patrick and Colton. They were both very professional and gave great customer service. The crew were also wonderful!
