The work took a long time to finally get started. Many delays. The crew that did the work were excellent and worked extremely hard and well. However in the end after paying Concrete Driveway Co., the subcontractor was not paid. Concrete Driveway Co. is a scam!! Don't use them!!

No complaints with my salesman,but the rest of the experience was the worst I?ve been through. The project manager outright lied to me, and when I called him on it he referred me to his supervisor. I felt the supervisor was condescending in the way he talked to me. The shape of my new driveway not exactly what I wanted or what the drawing looked like. The clean up included leaving concrete pieces, nails, and a form board in the yard. They cut off my gate to fit over the driveway, it literally looks like they cut it with there eyes closed. My gate pins to hold the gate in place are crooked and barely latch (are set in the concrete). After I left a bad review they tried to contact me but I was dealing with a family emergency. When I was able, I contacted them and the project manager said he would call me back the next day. That was 2 weeks ago and still nothing. If you want horrible customer service and a mediocre job at best then hire Madewell Concrete. If you want a good job and good customer service then do yourself a favor. HIRE SOMEONE ELSE.

We contracted with Madewell Concrete in Nov 2021 to demo our existing driveway and install a new one, including the walkway to the house. On our final walkthrough, Madewell PM and I agreed that the driveway edges were incorrect, and the project manager was to reschedule a visit to fix them soon after they dried but that never happened. Unfortunately for me, I paid them in full on that day. The biggest issue of all is the driveway discoloration and the hairline cracks it is now showing. The entire driveway is discolored, looks like never dried and due to this, it is starting to crack already on the surface. The edges near the control joints are uneven. There is chipping around the control joints, and I have PICs to prove all this. The project manager was around for less than 10 % of the time on both days and the project was poorly managed. I have been in touch with Madewell since Mid-December trying to resolve this. I have emails from some team members acknowledging some of the issues and providing less than acceptable resolutions while other team members have simply denied saying that the discoloration is not covered under warranty when my claim is the job was not performed correctly, to begin with. This is very troubling because I do not trust the company or their 10-year warranty anymore which was precisely the reason I chose to pay 30% more for the same job. Finally, the subcontractors were messy and inexperienced. They damaged my Cable and Internet lines, irrigation lines (which they fixed but its leaking, have pics to prove), and the concrete supplier scratched and dented the street outside my driveway trying to drive the concrete trucks on my driveway to pour concrete. I have Pics and email chains with different team members from Madewell. I have contacted BBB and am hoping to find a resolution to my issues.

Very accommodating and professional work. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money. I'd hire them again, but hopefully my new driveway will last another 60 years. :-)

Very professional company. The project manager Terrance Washington was exceptional in his knowledge, keeping us informed of during and after the job.

Our driveway is gorgeous! It exceeded our expectations. The Madewell Concrete crew did a top-notch, professional job from start to finish. Amazingly our driveway was completely replaced in two days! Gage, our Sales Manager, came to our house to discuss options we were considering. He was very knowledgeable and helpful as we reached a decision. He measured our driveway and sent us a quote. Once we accepted the quote, we were put on the schedule. Reid, our Project Manager, and his crew were fantastic! Reidâ s experience was valuable. He was always willing to answer questions and explain the process to us. The crew worked non-stop throughout the time they were here. On the day work was scheduled to start, rain was in the forecast. We were notified that the job would need to be postponed. We appreciated that it would not be done in less-than-ideal conditions. We were rescheduled for the following week and had great weather. The first day was demolition. A Bobcat with jackhammer attachment was used to break up the concrete into big chunks. The chunks were then deposited into one of several heavy-duty dumpsters and hauled away to be recycled. Large roots that had caused the concrete to break up were removed. The ground was graded, and forms were set in place to be ready for the new concrete. The second day was installation. The crew and the first of several concrete trucks arrived early. As the concrete was poured some of the crew worked on spreading it out. Others followed behind to smooth and brush it to give it a non-slip surface. Control joints, basically grooves, were added to help control any future cracking in the concrete. The process was fascinating to watch. We are extremely pleased with our new driveway, and it was a pleasure having the entire crew here. We highly recommend them.

We ran into some problems, but at the end of the day they went above and beyond to make sure they delivered what was agreed to. I don’t imagine they made much money on our project, but we have been enjoying our sports court for the past year and we are very satisfied.

I am on day 2 after I had a parking pad, walkway, and a small patio poured. I am happy with the parking pad. The walkway has an inconsistent finish but being in the back of the house, it is livable. No-fault of the installers. The project managers seem very lazy and quick to brush off an issue. Still waiting for my warranty email. There was an absolute mess left with red mud all over not just my driveway, but my neighbors and all in the road. I was told this was to be expected with any construction project. Highly doubtful. Called this afternoon after pressure washing my neighbor driveway all afternoon and all I got was an apology and asked if I took pictures. I am pretty sure the project manager is supposed to be on-site for the duration of the project for things like this. Literally only saw the PM that morning. None of my instructions were passed along to the installers. One big issue is my drains were concreted over as instructed by the PM. So the installers had to cut out the drain while I went to Home Depot to get more drain pipe and concrete to patch what he cut out. I feel exactly like the person in another review I just read, I feel like they felt like my job was not big enough to spend time at to make sure everything went as it was supposed to. Really mad about my neighbor's driveway being covered in red mud as well as my drain being buried. Again, all I got was an apology. Not a sincere one might I add. I have quite a bit more cost to incur because of the red mud everywhere. Literally. Feel free to follow the mud trail to my house to see for yourself. The sales rep assured me before signing the contract, they would clean up once the job was finished. The clean-up was explained to me as brooming the clumps off the drive during my phone call with all my concerns. Like others, concrete is splashed all over my house. For whatever reason, the dirt they dug out for the small patio area was thrown onto the corner of my storage shed. Buried a good 10 inches of the corner. This was mentioned to the pm over the phone while the installers were still at my house, nothing was done. I doubt the message was even relayed. Again, the installers were really nice and very hard workers. When I told him he was not supposed to cover my drain, he immediately started planning how to dig it out. I am going to continue to press this pm for some answers or action. A simple sorry will not do in this case. If I could take this back, I would rather pay a legit company double what I paid them to do it right and not leave my neighbors and my property looking like a commercial construction site, I would hand down. The 4.7-star review on here is very deceptive. Huge waste of money with more spending to follow. Installers were great, this company is terrible with horrible customer service. Angi let me down with this one.

Excellent experience from start to finish. We asked Madewell to quote a driveway and walkway project this past summer. Our driveway was approx. 42 years old and when it rained hard, an area in the drive way by the garage would collect mud and standing water. We decided to proceed with the project this January, 2022 and couldn’t be happier with the service and experience. From project management to crew, they stayed on site, walked me through every step and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. The crew was very professional and took on the task to install a channel drain to resolve the prior issue of standing water when heavy rain occurs. I would highly recommend Madewell!

They did my neighbors driveway in two days. After seeing them put in a long drive in two days I asked them to provide a quote to replace my 40 year old drive. Their price was competitive and the started the work when the said they would. Workmanship was excellent and the project manager explained everything that would be done

I contracted with MadeWell Concrete to replace my 19 year old driveway. The job was right at 3950 sq yards of concrete. The job foreman stayed in touch and kept me updated as to when the crew would arrive and how long it would take. The day it they were to start the job it rained, and we had to reschedule the project. On the day of the reschedule the crews arrived early and broke up the old driveway and cleaned and cleared everything quickly. They set the forms for the new driveway which would be put in the next day. They arrived early the next day and waited for the cement company which had some issues, that MadeWell had no control over. They had my new driveway down and worked till it was past darkness. The crew was a good working bunch of guys that showed they take pride in their work. When the salesman came out to give me a quote for the job he did so very professionally. The documents and proposal were easy to understand. I was told upfront that MadeWell Concrete was not the cheapest in the business and that they provided a quality product. I understood form the very start that it would be expensive. I had several other Concrete Companies provide me with a proposal and they were not as professional and that concerned me. I wanted the best product and would be willing to pay the extra money. I am able to say that I am very pleased with the job they performed and would not hesitate to recommend this company. I have had friends ask me who did the driveway and given them the company info. I did research on driveway replacements and wanted to be sure I choose a A+ rated company, and I did. This job was completed mid November.

Philip was amazing.. we had an issue with the water . He came out late at night to try to fix the problem.. it turned out it was a city of Atlanta issue .. but he didnâ t hesitate to help figure it out ! Above and beyond work ethic! Gage was also our first contact .. he was professional and available to Answer all questionsâ ¦ I would use this company and recommend this company again

Once I decided on Madewell Concrete Company, the project manager led me through each step of the process. He assured me with clear details that the work would be done properly. The workers showed up on time and completed the work with timely and superior skills . There was no undue disturbance of the property and the cleanup was to my satisfaction.

Good result but did not follow instructions on where to put removed dirt. Now I have several hundred square feet of the rock-covered unmovable backyard.

Madewell graded and laid a 200 foot driveway with several courses of granite blocks throughout. Great company to work with. They worked with my schedule for installation, did a great job and respected the surrounding parts of our property during the project. Iâ d hire them again if the need ever arises.

I would have given it a 3 Star review, but because Madewell follow through with redoing our driveway and walkway to our satisfaction we decided to give it a 5 Star. The finishing touches of the second crew you sent to re-do the job were really nice.

The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out GREAT !
