I had a reply within an hour of my request. He showed up a couple hours later just like he said he would. Very nice and courteous.

Very nice, easy to work with. He is flexible, listened to my concerns and incorporated then into my service! I am so glad I called him. He has mowed our grass 4 times so far this summer. You won't regret hiring him.

Beware of Mae Mae' s Mowing He conned me into paying him and then didn't do the job he was hired to do. He took my money and did less than 10% of the job I hired him for! He hauled about 4 yards of trash out of the 60 that I hired him to haul and he didn't touch the tires, which he said he did all the labor on them to be ready to haul them out another day. but he eagerly took $700 from me and won't return my calls now. He should have looked at the job before quoting it. If he thought the job was too big he should have given me my money back or negotiated a different price. Instead he insisted that I pay him in full before I could see he work, and he did only a fraction of the job he was hired to do. And now he's not returning my texts. Buyer beware. Don't trust him. Here's how it went down: 5/5 Mae Mae' s Mowing called, referred by Home Advisor. I told him I had about 2 full dumpsters of trash to haul (30 yards x 2 = 60 yards) and a few hundred tires. He asked me about previous quotes. I told him $1,000, and he told me he would do it for $500 and take care of the tires. He said he was going to come that evening to take a look at it. 5/6 KD called 1st thing in the morning. He said with the tires that he wanted $700 now. I assumed he looked at the job the previous night, like he said he was going to. So I put a $200 deposit down. KD said he'd do it Saturday and Sunday. 5/9 KD said he and his crew would be there first thing in the morning Sunday to do it. 5/10 KD calls at the crack of 1:00pm. He was lost, he had never been to the property. (What? This is when I found out he didn't look at the job). He and his crew start work at 1:27pm. After 2-1/2 hours of work (at 4:00) he hit me up for payment. I talked with him and he said he got all of the trash on both sides of the gully except a couple of big items in the gully. He said â all of the labor for the tires is done. He said he would have to do the tires on Tuesday but really wanted payment in full. Unfortunately, I trusted him without seeing his work and paid him the $500 balance. 5/12 I texted him about when he would deliver the tires so I could pay. He said he couldn't do it because he had his daughter. Said he would do it Wednesday. 5/13 I texted him again. Said he couldn't do it because it was raining and he's got work today. I asked when he could do it, he said Whenever its pretty outside and I'm not busy with work. I told him it was bad business to not do what you say and to not commit to finishing a job. He replied that his guys worked hard all day Saturday (yea, that was 2-1/2 hours). 5/16 I go to the property to find that only about 1/10th of the trash was hauled and there was still trash all over the property that he didn't touch. He hauled 1 small trailer & truck load ( maybe 4 yards) Not to mention he didn't touch any of the +/- 300 tires. He didn't do any of the labor on the tires that he claimed, they were all in the gully and hadn't been touched. It was all a bunch of lies, he scammed me into paying him and then he took off! 5/18 I text him about finishing. He did not reply. 5/19 I texted him Did you want an opportunity to make this right? Or are you all done now that you've been paid? I will take no response to mean you have no intention to finish the job. I received no response and clearly he has no intention to finish the job.

KD from Mae Mae was very responsive, cares about customer schedules. He did everything he said he can do.
