Magic Carpet Cleaning

The quote on the phone was mispresented. When he came to the house it was double the cost. Then his machine spit dirty water on the carpet so I had him back to clean it and using the diamond brush worn the carpet strand. In addition, the solution used the second time in another area streaked the carpet. I called him and he was suppose to come back but never did. I would report him to the BBB. Totally incompetent!

It was a disappointing experience. Carpet did not look any cleaner than what it was. He finished everything in less than 45 min although he said it would take him about 2 hours. Overall, a bad experience.

Fast,friendly service his only knock is that the individual who cleaned my carpet is a Ravens fan!!😠😠🤣🤣

I quoted having my wall to wall carpet throughout the entire house vacuumed, steam cleaned with extraction, deodorizer and protectant. This is a ~1200 sq ft rancher thats totally empty right now, so no moving any furniture. The initial quote was $29 per room and ball park $180 only because I mentioned there was a bad spot in the dining room. He mentioned on the phone that there would be a 3 year warranty at no cost to come back and spot clean areas that need it. I have 5 rooms and one hallway. When the service guy came to the house, he did not appear professional, he also re-quoted $375. I said that's not what was quoted. He said that I wouldnt get anyone to do it any less. I had the text messages to prove it but didn' t feel like arguing with the guy. So I said to just forget it and leave. He immediately dropped his price to $275. For the sake of time i told him to go ahead and do it. 5 minutes later he was running his extraction cleaning machine (looked not much different than my Hoover Carpet cleaning machine). I asked him why he wasnt vacuuming first like I had asked in the quote and he said his machine picks up the dirt and there is no need to vacuum. Less than 40 minutes into the job he said he was finished and that all those chemicals are included in the one solution. I inspected the carpet and although the carpet appeared on the surface to be clean and smell ok there were areas that did not look thoroughly cleaned AND there was one area where it should have been vacuumed near the front door that had leaves and he said that his machine doesnt pick up leaves.... WHY DIDNT HE PICK THE STUFF UP???..... also there were areas that had carpet dander due to the machine pulling the fibers that his machine didn't pick up. All and All the work performed was POOR at best He did guarantee 4 years at $175/visit (not what originally quoted)â ¦ however his demeanor, customer service and total lack of caring for what the customer wants, I would never ask him to come back even if there was no charge. I signed the work performed slip and paid the guy just to get him the heck out of the house. I would NEVER recommend this company

My area rug was cleaned in an efficient and timely manner. It looks brand new.

Mike was very responsive, however gave a price prior, knowing number and type of spaces, and upcharged over 50% of initial quote upon arrival, stating he'd need to really get in and scrub. He arrived 25 minutes early, after I informed him I was out running errands, causing my wife and I to rush to get the remaining items off of the carpet- setting us back in terms of how we could pack and prepare for the move afterwards. He spent 20 minutes total to ;deep clean; two rooms and a small hallway- not Berber carpet. He still charged the same upcharged amount. He knew that this service was needed for us to satisfy our lease and took advantage of that situation.

The gentleman who cleaned my carpets was on time, courteous, and friendly. The rugs are CLEAN, and they smell amazing. It was done in under an hour, and dry by 2 or so hours later. Awesome. Thank you.

Called on Monday, came on Tuesday, had work (two upstairs bedrooms) complete in ~ 20 minutes. Excellent job, clear communication of costs.

Cole was very responsive and was gracious in answering questions prior to the cleaning. The job was done quickly and dried in the time Cole told us it would! As we have vacuumed a few times after the cleaning, it has become more apparent that the cleaning was better than we first thought; just as Cole told us we would.

Quoted $89. Explained prior to him coming out, Dog had pooped on carpet. ended up paying $175, he had asked for $200. On the plus side he did show up right away, the part of the carpet he did clean was clean and smelled nice. On the negative, he did not do edge cleaning of carpet, did not move a piece of furniture. And I'm talking about easily scooted aside chairs etc. This is a 12x14 room. Not that large, seemed expensive.

Very pleased at the quick response , and it took no time at all to get the job done. The cost was more than the nationally advertised company would have been, but I was impressed with how spotless my carpet became when the job was completed, and with the price guarantee for future cleanings, it was well worth it. Glad I decided to go with Magic Carpet Cleaning.
