Adam and Dan are great guys who really care about their work. Their prep work was excellent and finished job was great. Fast working, good communication, and extremely neat! Estimation on the cost of materials could have been more precise, but I would hire them again.

Adam and Dan, of Magpie Painting, really are masters of their craft. I cold called them, the same day I heard from them by text and we set-up a walk through. In a matter of hours after the walk through, I received a professional, detailed and fair quote. Upon agreeing to their proposal, a schedule was set, they kept to it and were more than willing to integrate my rather adventurous color scheme. Their attention to prep was above and beyond anything I've seen and, accordingly, their lines were perfect! They also provided some excellent carpentry that finished off an almost finished renovation. Their suggestions were excellent, the communication was proactive, and their work was outstanding -- they really enjoy and take pride in what they do. I will be calling them for any painting projects I have going forward and highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent painters.

Although the process took much longer than expected (mostly due to weather related delays) the end result has been well worth the wait...our home looks gorgeous!! Very pleased with the quality of work and especially the end results!!

They were responsive, organized, communicated clearly and often, collaborated on solving the things that inevitable come up, ended up building us a new side porch along with painting our whole house. Could not recommend more highly!

Adam and Dan are thoughtful and conscientious, approaching each aspect of the job with care and a desire to make it right. They are both communicative, personable and professional, and the response to feedback as the job progressed was excellent. We were particularly pleased with the work environment, how they worked, how they managed their equipment, and how they cleaned up at the end of each day. We missed them when they were gone, but they left behind some beautiful rooms for us to remember them by!

I had the best experience with Magpie! I really appreciated that Adam started the job on time, was here when he said he would be, tidied up after each day of work and was super tidy in general, was careful in his work with great attention to detail, and it was a great price! I think one of the things I appreciated most was the way Adam elicited my opinion and listened to what I had to say. I felt like it was a team effort. And he's just the nicest guy. Thank you, Adam. Adam has been great, every step of the way! We have a house with several animals & he has been conscious of what to leave out and what not to. Not only is Adam a great human, he does AMAZING work! I've been in constant (annoyingly constant, on my part) from day 1 and he's always understanding of my questions and requests. He finished the job AHEAD of schedule & was EARLY almost every day! We got quotes from a couple different companies and Adam came in about average and exceeded my expectations! Next time we need something painted, we're a return customer! 10 Stars!!!

We hired Adam to change the colors in our new home. He was meticulous in everything he did. He was always on time, finished the job in the time estimated, left our home neat each day, and was pleasant and cheerful the whole time. Adam has an amazing attention to detail. Very detail oriented. Good eye for color and design. He lays down meticulous lines in his work.
