    I was very disappointed that for a two person team and $198 cost that the place didn't sparkle. It is only a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo. The kitchen cabinets still had a sticky film, the oven wasn't cleaned (as expected), one of the burners still had food residue under it. The bathtub and sink could have been cleaner, the mirror in the bedroom had hairspray or some residue that needed a stronger cleaning solution. The maids left two bags full of trash on the front hall landing instead of taking it down to the trash bins. No one called to tell me they arrived or were finished. I was not impressed as I thought I should have been for that amount of money and for two people doing the work on such a small place.

    I selected Maid Brigade for my cleaning service and signed a one-year contract with it. Thus, the company representatives impressed me enough for me to actually sign a contract. However, since I have not actually experienced the service, much less for any length of time, I am, at this point, unable to evaluate the quality of the work performed, nor how consistent that quality is--a very important combination, in my opinion. However, I was impressed with the people I talked with on the phone and met in person. They were all well-spoken, courteous, informative, and helpful. They dealt with me in a way that made me feel they were really interested in having me aboard as a client and would do everything in their power to see to it that I am pleased with their service. On top of all that, I felt that their prices were very reasonable. At this point, then, I can rate as "very good" what the service offers and how it presents itself, but have no way of rating the actual quality of the work performed. I look forward to working with this cleaning service, and I am grateful to ServiceMagic for putting me in touch with it. If you contact me in a few months, I would be happy to share my evaluation of the quality and consistency of the housecleaning and any other relevant aspects of the service.

    They cleaned NOTHING. The ceiling fan still had huge chunks of dust on it, windows sills were filthy, windows streaked & dirty, tubs still dirty. I ended up having to clean everything myself since nothing they were supposed to clean was even close to clean when they left. The toilet still had a 5 square inch patch of poop on the side of it from where our toddler had an accident BEFORE they came and "cleaned". I had washed the seat already but I figured they'd be able to clean that & save me (with my big pregnant self) from getting on my hands & knees to clean it. But no, they did not clean it at all.

    8. Liens Search
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
    9. Identity Verification (SSN)
      HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
    10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
      We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
