I called the number listed on their website to have them come out to do a deep clean on my house. I was very explicit on details or any arrangements that would have needed to take place. On the phone call, I specified where I needed cleaning and what type of cleaning I needed. I had EXPLICITLY stated only two rooms of the house were to be cleaned and to NOT clean the first room on the left as it was immaculate and already cleaned. The representative expressed to me she would notate the specifications to pass on to the cleaning ladies. I called my husband immediately after that phone call and repeated the information and time of when The Maids would be appearing at my house. They showed up at my house at the designated appointment time and did their deep cleaning of my home. During the duration of their cleaning, I was texting the phone number that I presumed was a cellphone, giving the representative instructions, and it ended up giving me a landline error. I had no way of communicating with them while I was at work. I showed up at my home 1.5 hours after they finished and did a BRIEF inspection of my home. I had asked them if they at least vacuumed UNDER or moved my couches to clean under the couches since that should be a standard practice in deep cleaning. They said they had thoroughly vacuumed under my couches, so I moved on to the hallway. During my hallway inspection, I discovered they cleaned the room I explicitly told them NOT to clean. They immediately made the excuse that My husband told them NOT to clean that room and closed that door. I told them how could you have cleaned a room that was already cleaned and made a bed with sheets on top of it when I told the representative to NOT make my master bedroom bed and was told that was in the notes. After they had told me that false statement, I called my husband to verify that and he said of course not, I told them exactly what you said you told the representative. So after that phone call, I asked them to correct the error and clean the correct room that was needing to be done. They refused and told me to speak to their management. I spoke to the management and they were refusing to take fault for their workers mistake, not even acknowledging the fact that they SHOULD have had a well-written notation on what to do from the representative and what was directed to them from my husband. I had expressed to management that I do not even care at this point because I need to have that room cleaned. I just had surgery two weeks ago, had family coming down, and was not expecting this grievous mistake to occur. The management then expressed to me how I would be ADDITIONALLY charged for their mishap to clean the correct room and at that point, I told them to just get it done and I did not care, I just wanted it done! After completing the phone call to the management, they went into the CORRECT room this time and cleaned it within 30 mins, and left. Upon their leaving, I decided to do another inspection since I did not trust the cleaning experience that I had just encountered. During that inspection, I discovered many things wrong: cat litter all over the floor in the bathroom (which by the way could have been SWEPT UP and is not a biohazard, I will include the definition of a biohazard at the end of the review), there were mountains of dirt under my couches, dirt all over the vents, my master-bedroom had dirt under raised furniture, and the list goes on. I then decided to leave an appropriate voicemail about this, since the website has a 100% guarantee or they have to re-clean the premise. I received a return phone call at 9:00 p.m from a representative of the company: 1) She refused to honor the companies policy, 2) Kept making excuses for the lack of cleaning. At that point, I ended the phone call and decided I should seek avenues to report them for the false advert.
